Can't ride, so frustrated!

Post by novemberdelta »

Hi. This is my first post but I have been lurking for a while.

I got my first scooter, Black PCX 125, 5 weeks ago. I rode it 3 times, then ripped my bicep in the gym. I am getting SOO frustrated at not being able to enjoy it!

2 more weeks in a brace. Cannot wait to get back on my PCX, missing it so much!

Right. I am left handed. Worse for the bike though!

Welcome to the forums. Hopefully your arm heals quickly and you can get back to riding. The PCX is a fun bike.

I was deadlifting 235kg. It's a very rare injury. My underhand arm was probably slightly bent.

Novemberdelta, I feel your pain and frustration. I bought my Pcx150 2 months ago and I have only ridden it once in a parking lot for about 20 minutes. I didn't have my license yet so I couldn't ride it. I decided to take the MSF course and on the last day of the course I broke my foot. I'm going on week 4 with my foot. I hoping for some good news tomorrow when I go back to the doctor. So for now it sits in the garage. I was temped to ride the scooter until a customer came into my work. She broke her foot and toe. She decided to ride her scooter and fell. Now her arm is also in a brace. She's had the boot on her foot for 11 weeks. I'm praying that my foot is healing properly and fast so that I can ride my scooter before winter. I went down to the DMV and got my permit on Tuesday,so I can at least ride with the hubby until I can get my license.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks for your post, and likewise for s speedy recovery. I am so tempted to ride every day I am NOT going to do it though! It would be madness to risk injury again. Hard to resist though, I am SICK of the bus haha.

Fingers crossed for you!

I feel your pain. OK, not your pain, but I can empathize with your situation. We left our scoots at home (almost 3,000 miles away) to take a seasonal boat job (we are retired). It would have been GREAT to have the scoots along for our off-time, but there was no easy way to get 'em here. Just 4 days left on our contract, then some play-time, then back south. Back home, where I plan to load the scoots in a cargo trailer behind the RV and go find some fun twisty roads.

Hope you recovery is fast and complete!

Best wishes,
Captain Jim

I once prolapsed two disks catching the wife when she fainted. Still suffer from it 19 years later

Mind you I don't think she is 235kg

I'll ask...
