Cool. Thanks. I picked up the Givi Tall but that will do.

That's exactly the site I went to when putting my Givi tall on. Wish he'd do more updates.
Re: installing new, big Honda wind screen on your Forza
I don't think I spent more than 30 minutes putting the Givi on my PCX. Is the Forza a bit more difficult?

It is a real tug to get these yellow plugs out of the holes they are clipped into.SECoda wrote:I don't think I spent more than 30 minutes putting the Givi on my PCX. Is the Forza a bit more difficult?
Loosen the bottom, then pull out a little and down.
The 2 yellow plugs clip into these holes...one on each side
I buttered them up with silicone grease for next time!
Probably not a good idea to try this if the plastic is cold.

Ah! I see. Thanks. There is probably nothing in the service manual on this.

The manual has a microscopic drawing of arrows, lines and a thing that could be a tab and a hole it goes in.....over there....SECoda wrote:Ah! I see. Thanks. There is probably nothing in the service manual on this.
This is page one, step one for taking the whole scooter apart...."Remove.... by releasing the following....."
The "releasing" is the magic part.
This is why BRed's exploded scooter pix are so impressive to me! He "released" practically everydamthing! Just for the heck-of-it!
An AMAZING feat of daring!

I just suffered through this again. For future folks the problem is the red tab on the bottom front that the bolt goes through has a larger hole so that the black bottom piece protrudes up into that hole where the bottom bolt goes up. You must release the red tab off of the black nub sticking up through the hole. You can't just pull it out or you may break the tab off. You must come at it from the back and pry the red tab up. Then it falls out.
The side tabs are minor compared to that.
