Replacement bars
Has anyone successfully fitted aftermarket bars on the PCX?
I find the standard bars uncomfortable, and prefer the straighter style motocross style
I'd like something like this, just wondered if anyone fitted similar, and do all cables/brake lines still fit, and the bars move left/right without hitting the screen?

Re: Replacement bars
A friend of mine had something similar on his previous PCX and he loved it to bits.
Brake cables should be changed, electrical connectors seemed to just work.
As low as the standard "screen"is on the PCX it won't make any issue - however installing a larger screen can be potentially difficult.

Re: Replacement bars
I believe the OP has asked about replacing the handlebars as such, not about installing a cross bar.iceman wrote:Loads of discussion already, such as:

I agree though that there might still be topics out there where the right question has been answered.

Sorry, saw the brace in the pic and thought that was the discussion - damn early starts. I just noticed the posting time is completely wrong, I just posted this (and edited) and it shows as 8.10am yet I posted it 13.10pm (goes by board time which is 5 hours difference from GMT).

Wetherspoons has just opened in the centre of the universe but I'm sticking with my original bar. The Borough Bailiff

Have looked but not seen any threads on bar replacement, surely someone must have changed them?

Yeah i tried some Renthal bars back in the day, but way wide for my liking so figured out a way to install mountain bike bars... they are still so awesome.stevecbr wrote:Have looked but not seen any threads on bar replacement, surely someone must have changed them?
