Good lithium batt for the 2015 & up PCX

Post by Jge64 »

not gonna debate merits of lithium, always a hot topic on the boards. I like 'em. Here's a good one that fits the PCX and I'm sure the Forza too. Use the supplied foam pads to fit it PERFECTLY to the batt box....Stock batt=6 lbs, lithium=1.5.....

I wonder if that would fit the older (2011 - 2013) models. Did the battery compartment size change when Honda revamped the PCX?
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

I have that battery. Been using it now for about 5 years. Never recharged it, starts first time after months just sitting there in its corner. It’s bloody amazing little thing. It’s slightly smaller that a normal Pcx battery so you need to use the supplied padding to fill in space where it sits and it’s light as a feather comparing to the normal battery. The biggest thing is, it starts my engine that doesn’t use decompression lever on the camshaft anymore so easily that never gave me a hint of worries. Highly recommended upgrade to a stock Pcx battery..
