Re: Belt and roller change
Maddie you are right, However it's not because I did not put it tight enough. I remove the belt and compare them and found that the one I bought is slightly bigger than the original. (See pics) I refit the original and the noise is gone and I could once again reach 65 mph. I will now have to get me ...

Re: Belt and roller change
I honestly don't know what's the weight (will try to find out), however I've notice that getting to 60 mph does not require full throttle and even if I open up fully, makes no difference, Just makes a heavy oscillating vibrating hum likes it's trying to do more. I will attempt to upload some pics of...

Re: So glad I commute by Scoot
I know the freedom that it brings Iceman.
I traveled from Essex to Vauxhall Costing me £210.00 a month and 2hrs. Withing three months of doing that I bought a scoot after doing some number crunching. Now it takes me 60 min on a VERY BAD DAY and 40 min average. costing about £110. a month. I love it!!!

Re: Belt and roller change
So finally after 20102 mile, I decided to change my belt and rollers ( was rather easy I must say). looking at the belt I could easily get an extra 1000 - 3000 miles from it, the roller however were well worn. One thing I noticed is that I lost about 4 MPH on my top speed and so far I am only able t...

Belt and roller change
Ok so I took my 2013 scoot to the dealer for the 15000 service (I usually do a service myself to save money) and was told that the belt needed changing at 12000 miles. Wanting to save me some £££ I bought me the belt and roller set (£25) and is now ready to do the change over. my bike is now at 1889...

Re: Weird PCX Noise
This is what I was told, my 2013 PCX had the very noisy variator. with the bike off and pusing it, there was a grinding noise. when I took it to the dealer, they said that Honda does not grease the bearing for the variators so they changed it and the noise is now gone.

Re: Skene Photon Blaster front lights
I haven't thought about this option, but I'm sure that it will catch motorists' attention! (the problem here in Spain is that it would also catch Law Enforcement Officer's attention...   ) Perhaps if they were solid, instead of flashing, they would be more "allowed" and...

Re: Skene Photon Blaster front lights
I've come up with these so that I get seen when filtering traffic during rush hour. I bought the cheap ones (£1.00) just in case they are illegal here in the UK. I really hate it having to do so many emergency braking in a 25 miles journey and with winter around it only gets worse.

Re: Honda PCX Top Speeds (mph)
OK guys, after much reading I have come to the conclusion that it may not be possible to increase the PCX 125 speed as there seems to be some kind of built in limitation. However, on my 2013 PCX I once topped 77MPH in the early stages (mileage). I now go about 69- 72 (will provide a video soon) with...

Re: London on a PCX (video)
Great video, reminds me of my daily commute in London. Oh the horror with this traffic. This is why I got me a scooter, beats London Trains and raid traffic everyday.

Re: Greetings
Thanks for the warm welcome folks. Maddiedog I have the eSP model and enjoying every bit of it so far. This is my main form of commute for work as it is much cheaper and reliable than London trains. Have had it as of 7th October and do about 50 miles a day commuting. What else can I say other than w...
