If you are modifying your engine, keep in mind that a more powerful engine requires heavier sliders/rollers to counter the increased torque on the torque driver. Why's that? The limit seems to be different depending on the slope. I don't know if it is a fuel restriction or floating valves, but it is definitely a "hard" limit. On level or gentle downhill roads, my limit was about 110km/h but on steep downhills it was about 125km/h. Anyone know what causes this?...

Is that how it works? I always figured that if you had trouble getting up to the red line in the first place, then making the gearing longer wouldn't help with that. I poked wire through with a stick and secured with cable ties where i could reach.
Perhaps not the best way, but I was lazy.

I only had to remove the spark plug access cover to install my tach. Once you have the tach fitted, you can do some measurements and calculate the optimum slider mass. For your application I would get sliders only. No other mods necessary. I installed 11.5g sliders and they are close enough for now ...

All done. I would say the whole job would take less than 2 hours if you have all the tools and know what to do. I used a 50 ton press to change the gear. The pressure gauge hardly budged so I would say it took less than 5 tons. The Yuminashi gear is slightly smaller than the stock one on the 2013 PC...
