What`s under your seat?
I keep a Swiss Army Knife under my seat compartment ,always. With the tool kit. What do you always have stored?
Re: What`s under your seat?
A microfibre cloth for cleaning the fork stanchions.
It lives where the toolkit usually goes.
The toolkit got thrown in a cupboard never to see the light of day again.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Nothing.
Why do you need a knife.
Or a toolkit?

It`s a multi-tool , not just a knife. I can cut fruit with a knife, bandages with a scissor, screwdriver for a quick tightening , toothpick, tweezers etc. for whatever need may arise on the road.you you wrote:Daddy Cool wrote:I keep a Swiss Army Knife under my seat compartment ,always. Portable charger/power supply and battery booster ( size of a half pound of butter)

Tire patch kit
Co2 inflator/pump
Tool roll containing tools to do basic service/tune up/repairs
Insurance papers
Cargo net
2" x 6' buckle tie down strap.

I think a lot of what you have can be replaced by a BCAA membership.MikeP wrote:Portable charger/power supply and battery booster ( size of a half pound of butter)

I'm screwed if I ever get a flat. But my poor man's BCAA is a phone call to my wife to come get me with the minivan.
Buckle tie down straps seem a lot better than my bungee cords.

Re: What`s under your seat?
Required registration/insurance papers, a red shop towel, cards with my towing service phone numbers.
There is always service 24x7 within an hour of me wherever I go. I also have a 16' tandem axle trailer to haul it and trailer hitches on all of our vehicles. I check fluid levels every ride and just don't see much change in anything in say 1000 miles. I am adding a tire kit to each bike. I now have top cases on both bikes and have water/clothes in them typically.

Spoggles x1, gloves, multifibre cloth, tyre pressure gauge, insurance docs/Green Flag assistance, Swiss army knife. The tool kit went in the bin - less than useless.

Re: What`s under your seat?
That would be as good as any laxative :-)
Re: What`s under your seat?
For my first year of scooter riding I carried enough tools to....
Anyway, I'm getting a lot better MPG's now that I'm trusting the scooter to get me back to my tool box.
Digital tire pressure & stick (to compare them to each other), tire repair kit with the C02 bottles, towel, soft surface disc for the side stand (from the riding safety class), a few sockets & ratchet, multi-screw driver, rain shed stuff for my visor, rain gloves. Ins. card, owners manual, & registration.
BTW - there is plenty of room for two full face helmets under the Forza seat if you follow the diagram in the owner's manual. One helmet over the battery area, the other helmet is also set on its 'neck' but turned 1/4 turn to face to the side.
If the top boxes didn't spoil the looks so bad on the Forza - I'd put one on. On my Ves-bretta looking Kymco, the top box is quite handy and seems less like a design after-thought. (Kymco delivers the scoot with a box installed) Feel the same about those CHIP's windscreens....but understand that this is a personal decision.
Plus, at 6'3", I'd be kicking the snot out of any top box on the Forza since this scoot is not a step-through.

Re: What`s under your seat?
For "aesthetic days" you just pop the top case off. It takes a few seconds with the key. I now actually feel like something is missing with it off. You get used to all that space real fast. I even forget to take it off for speed tests, etc. When you had LEDs to the rear and better visibility it becomes easy.

The fact that there's a picture suggests that somebody actually did thatwingz wrote:... just kidding. I keep my rain pants under the seat.
