Hi iconsx.
I did not do the replacement. The Honda dealer said that part was $70 AUD for a cam chain tensioner.
Maybe it comes in a kit with multiple parts. Does anyone know more about this?

Re: Honda PCX 150 Idle Ticking Sound
Hi, I just got my PCX back from the Honda dealer. I was putting off bringing it in as I don't have the funds for it so I just used the car for awhile. It turns out it was the cam chain tensioner. I had the initial 1000 km service done and then replaced the oil myself at 5000 km. The problem develope...

Re: Honda PCX 150 Idle Ticking Sound
The scooter was bought in 2014. It has 10,000 kms on it. The last service was 4,000 kms. Try the link again and let me know if it still doesn't work.

Honda PCX 150 Idle Ticking Sound
Hello, Can you please help me by suggesting what this sound might be and what I should do? My Honda PCX 150 suddenly started making a ticking noise on idle. I say suddenly because it did not make this noise at all the last time I drove it. The sound appears to go away or quieten substantially when t...

Re: New member hello :-)
Hi Fizzy Rascal,
Let me know how the seat feels. I think I am getting use to the seat that comes fitted.

Service Intervals Short?
Hi, Are the service intervals normal for a scooter? The book for the PCX 150 recommends a service at 1000 KMs then at 4000 KMs then every 4000 KMs afterward. Honda told me that it is a two hour service costing $240 each time it's serviced. This seems expensive to me. Is this what you are paying? Is ...

Hi beos59,
Yes I do live the southern hemisphere. I live in Adelaide South Australia. :-)
Hi WhiteNoise,
I do find the seat a bit uncomfortable. What are some good options to replace it?

Re: New member hello :-)
Thanks for the welcomes. I picked up the scooter today and have enjoyed riding it. Just taking it easy for the 500 kilometer recommended break in. Take a look at the pictures of it in the orchard by my place. :-) https://plus.google.com/photos/102160638313981513505/albums/5965681560179480017?authkey...

New member hello :-)
Hello everyone,
I just bought a Honda PCX 150 yesterday and am excited to pick it up tomorrow.
I selected the pearl white. :-)
I traded in a Suzuki GS500.
Does anyone have any tips for a new PCX owner?
I'm looking forward to commuting on it.
