Where did you get your Daytona variator?Mgalutia88 wrote:Malossi multi var is good but daytona variator provides great acceleration and a higher top speed along with it. I think it's around 3-4kph higher top speed.

Givi E370 with AdMore Light kit
Finally got video of my light kit for my top case. This is not the Givi light kit for the E370, it is by Admore Lighting. Honda dealership installed it for me - this is the extra wire that comes out of my top case. The LED's aren't quite as bright as I had hoped, but I like the modulated brake light...

Re: Advice on Jacket/Trousers
I ride ATGATT - all the gear, all the time. My primary jacket is from GoGo Gear. I wear their hi-vis Cafe jacket and love the style as well the fact that you can see me for miles. Last year they came out with a Kevlar armored hoodie that looks just like a hooded sweatshirt. If I didn't want to look ...

Belt and juddering
Hello all! It has been a while since I checked in here, I know! I posted a few months back about the "juddering" that I was getting on accelaration at low throttle. The shop at the dealer told me it was the front brakes being too tight, and when he adjusted them it improved quite a bit. Re...

Re: Honda OEM Rear Trunk Base, 2013 one-piece metal version
Thanks Mel - I had it installed at the dealer. I thought that was how he was going to do it. Givi makes a light kit for that box, but it is only a tiny light above the handle. It is designed to be quick-connect tho. The Admore kit is designed for that box, but the directions say to drill instead of ...

My husband was born in Germany. Every few years, we visit and stay with his aunt and uncle. This time, they took vacation at the same time as us and planned us all a mini-getaway to Austria. My first time there :) This is also the first time my youngest stepson has visited Germany. He is loving it s...

Yes. When I can take a decent video I will post. Has modulated brake lights as well as turn signals. AdMore Lighting.GeezyRider wrote:I would guess it is for the lights on the top box.WhiteNoise wrote:Yeppie, I see the pics now! Nice!! So do tell, what's the wire coming out of your top box?

Motorcycle [and scooter] heaven - without my scoot :-(
Austrian Alps. Thousands of motorcycles, a few scoots. Not for the faint of heart - tons of blind curves, many without guard rails.

Re: brakes cause vibrations when not applied?
Personally I prefer to pull out briskly when the light turns green. I don't think that had much to do with it in my case.

Re: Bike shudders the first few times it starts each trip
Sounds like the same thing mine was doing. I'm out of town right now - hoping I do t experience it again when I get back. Just got it back from the shop right before I left, was told it was my front brake, but seemed to feel more clutch or belt-related.

Re: brakes cause vibrations when not applied?
Well, maybe it was brakes? Seems to be back to normal - no earth-shattering vibrations on the way home from the shop. Mechanic said when he went to spin the front wheel, it wouldn't turn. So he said he bled the air out and it turned fine and no shuddering. Also confessed he just learned that the PCX...

Re: brakes cause vibrations when not applied?
Its normal for there to be some judder when cold. This is due to the transmission system getting worn and dusty. The simplest solution is to ride it long and hard to blow the dust out. Take the parking brake off, thing's right up there with the chocolate fireguard and the trap door for a canoe. Yes...

brakes cause vibrations when not applied?
Let me start with disclaimer that I am definitely not a mechanic. But I do try to understand things. After I got my PCX 150 back from my first service at 600 miles, I started to notice a slight vibration when I would first twist the throttle as I exited my driveway. Would usually go away after the s...

Re: Today's Quick Pic
More pictures from Memorial Day weekend. Still learning how to make them the right size. Not sure why the one of my brother is sideways - don't know how to fix it on my computer at work, so you'll just have to turn your heads I guess. The youngest of my 2 older brothers tried the white scoot, chased...
