Re: Paint job
I wrapped my zuma with some sort of vinyl that claimed it had micro holes so the air bubbles can be pressed out which was true as long as it had good adhesion my only bubbles showed up under the seat (not seen) at a 90 degree bend with less then 1/4 to stick the vinyl I should of used adhesion promo...

Re: How-To: Lower both front and back of your PCX 4FREE!!!
on my zuma I slid the fronts up higher into the triple tree
keeping the same travel, but made it lower
I had to cut out some of the plastics above as the shocks would hit and rub
but thats stuff you dont see
is that possible for the pcx

Re: Stretched engine mount
I see how you mounted on the stretch itself, but how do you mount on your frame? what the adjuster rods? there happened to be a tab on the frame on both sides not used and covered by a body panel so you just enlarge the hole and run a bolt through it but in your case you could pick a point on your ...

Re: Stretched engine mount
yeah I know those had the rubber feet and I was wondering with all the extra stress because yours is so much longer then those other ones if that could cause them to fail over time, or bounce up and down too much because of all the leverage that may be why those other ones were so much shorter but i...

Re: Stretched engine mount
the one I sell for the zuma uses 2 side rods that tie the stretch into the frame they are adjustable so you can set the engine height , and ride height and using 2 rods can take out any wheel tilt that can happen from such a long stretch This one is a 9 inch stretch http://i117.photobucket.com/album...

Re: Stretched engine mount
the actual stretch should not move up or down at all
only the engine moves
you dont want double jointed movement

Re: Rear Wheel noise
I heard it in person
told him there was a bad noise
sounds like a bearing to me, grindy when spinning the wheel either direction
I thought the gear oil has no oil, or bearing in the gears is going bad was my guess

Re: Intergrated turn signals in USDM headlights
Didn't realise that these didn't come with indicators in!? Your in the uk so I think you guys have the legit lights with the signals added by default, not like the usa lights. at least this state (CA) we have height, and width regulations for front and rear signals so must be why here they arent in...

Re: Intergrated turn signals in USDM headlights
should of throw in some halo rings while you were in there I use them as daytime driving lights, and no drain on the electrical system they do make amber ones too, would be cool to use that as the signal they come in all sizes so you can stack in different ones http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o56...

Re: Engine codes
Not sure what to make of this thread... There is no way I would order a new pipe ($) that doesn't fit the PCX and cobble it together on a brand new bike. IF you insist on swapping out the muffler, order one that is made for it. FYI.. The GY6 is (or was) the designation for Honda's 150 cc 4 stroke o...

Re: Stretched engine mount
one trick you can do to see if its lowered is look how long the kick stand leg is, and of course the angle the bike is sitting although you can not tell in that picture if that looks like the normal height then its just stretched you can always lower the rear super easy when making the stretch but f...
