Re: what has happened to this site?
I just turned 75 and I didn't think I would stop until recently. Then, this year my joints started hurting enough to stop me from riding on certain days, and my back (after 13 back surgeries) now yells at me in the mornings when I get up. It is as though I reached a point in life when all of the ext...

Re: what has happened to this site?
My 2013 model is great and dependable, though I am about to stop riding all together due to age. Still, it has been dependable and is esay to work on. This "throw away" generation thinks that they need the newest model of something in order to get dependability, so what I am seeing on thi...

Re: what has happened to this site?
I will one of these days have to get another bike and when I do I won't get the 2021 version of the PCX but I will look for a 2020 or 2019> I live in the Chicago area so there is bound to be a market of available PCX's.

Re: what has happened to this site?
Could be. Or maybe they just moved on to something else other than the PCX. But, how could anybody, once having had a PCX, want to move on to anything else? The mere idea boggles my mind.

what has happened to this site?
This poor site has gone pretty dead, seems to me. It used to get a lot of traffic. When I joined some years back there was a crowd every day. Now...almost no flow at all.

Re: tire size
well, I have seen tires on the back ends of PCX's with 16 stamped on the sides, and some with 14. So I am supposing that that part of the rating indicates rim size, at least not exclusively.

Re: Back tire size for PCX? I bought a tire online with this rating stamped on the side: 130/70-12. This was advertised as a tire that would work with the back end of a PCX. Yes?

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
It is hard to believe that the 2021 would have such capacity when the other years all top out at about 63 or 65...but at least there is some back up (from Top Speed at least) for the claim that the 2021"s MPH dimension is steroidal.

Re: riding without colliding
It boggles my mind that no one picks up on this topic. Is it that scooter riders are immune to crashing? Not this scooter rider. I have fallen off my PCX and other bikes and it something devoutly to be avoided. Of course, there may be another factor contributing to this lack of interest in these saf...

You are right, but it is a matter of religion with me.gn2 wrote:Mine had 19,500 miles when I traded it at just under three years old.
Very minimal maintenance, never broke down once.
1,000 mile oil change is very wasteful, no need to change it so often.

No significant issues either other than tyre dramas (which aren't Honda's fault).

20000 miles today.
My 2013 PCX has just logged its 20 thousandth mile. Never have I had a bit of trouble with it. All I have done is change the plug and change the air filter a few times, change the radiator fluid and every thousand miles change the oil. I think the thousand mile oil change is the most important compo...

Re: a bad idea
I always thought roundabouts were idiot proof. nothing is proof against an enterprising idiot. That being said, I feel that even an idiot can do pretty well with a roundabout provided he is given some training in negotiating them. In the US roundabouts are still new and are relatively rare. We just...
