Hmmm , probably the correct washer? , you'd think they would show the check / drain bolt and washers in the diagram (s) .....thnx for the info.

Took the pcx to Honda dealership where I bought it from just to see what they'd say. Even after 6 months of ownership ( bought in November 2014 ) and 600 miles-ish , they basically said it was a non issue . Called Honda customer service in California , explanned all . They said the dealer could send...

So your 2015 pcx 125 's Honda manual advises to use full synthetic only ?. 2015 pcx 150's are advised to use semi- synthetic (with Moly). Hmmm , the differences?.

Moly will increase fuel econmy and reduce heat. Honda recommends using Moly ( HP4M) in the final drive as well , reduces heat , reduces friction from gears meshing . Call out to Cali. and talk to an engineer for the technical mumbo- jumbo , the number is in your owners manual. Ride well.

Anyone have Honda part numbers for the sealing washers for the final drive drain & check bolts. My Honda dealer didn't have them nor could they find them on the parts fiche. 2015 pcx 150. TIA

Understand your point on cost savings Maddie , but , they may save $$$ on initial cost , they could loose future buyers by such a tactic . Have to deal with their BS issues.....oh well.

Good info Maddiedog , thank you. Wasn't sure if there was a warranty issue looming or not. It's unfortunate one has to do this re-paint so early , but , if the engine stays reliable pulling duty at 55ish mph hour after hour , I'll be a happy camper. Thanks again .

2015 pcx 150 , 600 ish miles. I've noticed the finish flaking off of the exhaust pipe.....about 3-4 inches down from where it bolts onto the head . Anyone else have this issue . I've also noticed what looks like rust pits in the same area . There has been plenty of oil and coolant in the bike , FYI ...

Moly is a " slick" additive that reduces wear greatly and heat .
Synthetic engine oil has no moly , they are not similar oils .

I agree with a more substantial throttle usage instead of a light twist.

Should fit easily .

Mike P , keep thinkin the way you are , PM is the best Measure. Folks comment in snide ways not knowing a riders environment or fuel station qualities or lack there of . Again, keep thinkin.

Per the 2015 owners manual , breakin is 300 miles , if that matters to you ?.
I'm also going to check the alignment of the headlight on my 2015 pcx , I didn't find the lighting impressive at all during an evening ride . My 2009 TW200 has better light out put.
