Re: Adjustment procedure for rear shocks on Honda Forza 300?
Gn2's method is probably the easiest. ......nut I swear my Forza came with an off-set handle for the tool, in the OEM tool kit. It's been 4 yrs...but pretty sure I was able to adjust the shock, and I'm not very clever. BTW, what are your thoughts about the statement that these adjustment rings on s...

Re: Adjustment procedure for rear shocks on Honda Forza 300?
I believe I've used a large pair of channel lock pliers successfully. Put the scooter up on it's center stand to minimize the preload on the spring. The shock can easily be removes from the scooter also...no need to remove and panels or the muffler.

Re: Lowering bracket, anyone has tried?
I just installed them on my 2014 Forza and am happy with hem...the slightly lower seat is nice when having to back up using your feet and the ride may be slightly less jolting. But there is one downside...it's a LOT harder to get the scoot up on the center stand! The stand hits the ground farther b...

Re: Has anyone had their Forza seat fixed under warranty?
I replaced the original one (2014 Forza) with Honda's new part a year or two ago...seat now always stays up all the time!!! Makes the scoot much more enjoyable to use everyday.

Re: Forza 300 steering issue
Hi and thanks for the swift reply. I have to say that it makes sense. I have been riding bikes for years now and I have replaced many head bearings in my life but this is by far the most perfect (if I can call it that way) way in whichever they wore out (if this is the case). Bang on in the middle....

Re: Rear suspension question from new owner
IMG_1433.JPG Hi everyone! I'm a proud new owner of a Forza 300 (from 2013). Just bough with 36k km and happy with overall use coming from a Honda Vision 110 :P I've only one gripe with the bike, and is that the rear suspension is breaking by back, in only 3 days of use! I've been riding an Honda Vi...

Re: Do I have to use MB oil?
Cycle shop only sells Honda 10W-30 MA oil for wet clutch motorcycles. The manual says to use MB since, I'm assuming, the Forza has a dry clutch. Does it make a difference and can I also just use full synthetic Mobil 1 10W-30 automobile oil? This will be my first oil change after the 600 mile break-...

Re: Does size matter - or more to it?
....300 Forza, which was faster but still had small wheels so wasn't great on the motorway or rough roads. It was fast enough on the motorway, but blew around like a sail. It vibrated. Given its size and handling it wasn't great for filtering......... Vibration??? I find my 2014 Forza 300 smooth an...

Re: Forza belt life.
Changed the belt today, at 16,175 miles. Not to bad a job, using a home made tool to hold both the drive & driven pulley assemblies stationary while loosening the shaft nuts (which were REALLY tight from the factory). When installing the belt into the driven pulley you need to spread the pulley ...

Re: Forza 300 tires (probably again)
Replaced the original Dunlap front tire with the same brand/size (Dunlap Scootsmart) at around 12,500 miles that I got from Honda dealer. Replaced the rear Dunlap Scootsmart 140/70 with a Dunlap Scootline SZ01 150/70 at about 6500 miles. This tire now has 9500 miles on it and it's looking real good!...

Re: Forza 300 tires (probably again)
I'm sure this has been hashed over, but the board's search function is bordering on useless. I got my inspection today, and the rear tire is approaching the wear bar. I'm good, but not for the rest of the season. The "official" tire size for the NSS 300 rear is 140/70-13. There appear to ...

Forza belt life.
I'm almost at 16,000 miles on my 2014 Forza...time to change the drive belt according to Honda. Went and bought one from the dealer (had to order it..as expected...didn't keep one in stock). I'll be changing it soon, but am wondering how far (mileage wise) people have gone before changing it...or ho...

Re: Handa Reflex rear shocks on a Forza?
Yes....they Fit! Got 2 used ones off eBay. fit like a glove. Same length and and mounting system. The spring on the Reflex shock is shorter and the diameter smaller (2" vs 2 1/8") and wire diameter slightly less. Before actually trying them and made up a test rig so I could measure the any...

Re: Handa Reflex rear shocks on a Forza?
Preload is at the softest setting. Ride is worst at slow speeds over sharp bumps. Highway ride is acceptable. I also have a 1985 Honda Elite250. Surprisingly it has a much more acceptable ride in all conditions. ???

Re: Handa Reflex rear shocks on a Forza?
I have a 2014 Forza...wonderful scooter! No complaints except for the hard ride at the rear. Has anyone looked into replacing the rear Forza shocks with those from a Reflex? The Reflex is lighter, so am thinking it's shocks (springs) should be softer. A friend has a Reflex and I tried comparing the...
