Re: Broke Down in Montana
Yes, I should definitely write them a good review. Good idea. They even replaced it under warranty - cost to me was zero. I was surprised they didn't charge me, said the belt should have lasted till the service interval. Couldn't be happier.

Re: Broke Down in Montana
The guys at Five Valley Honda were nice enough to cannibalize a new belt off a PCX they had on their showroom floor to get me back on the road. Nice black one, poor thing.

Re: Broke Down in Montana
It was the belt! Excellent news, at least it wasn't something more catastrophic

I hope it's just the belt. That would be great news.

Re: Broke Down in Montana
Sorry, yeah that was vague. Yes, it will rev, but no response ( no acceleration) it just sits there like it's in neutral. Thanks for the reply

Broke Down in Montana
On a return trip cross country at 11,568 miles my PCX broke down on the side of a highway in Montana. Engine was still running, but lost all momentum and throttle response. I could only compare it to being on a regular bike in neutral. When the engine is on it sounds like it's revving high and knock...

Re: Where did my oil go?
This very thing happens to me. I'm constantly adding oil and just buy an extra quart when at service. I keep the bike at 55 most of the time, for peace of mind I'm telling myself it's normal.

Re: Pikes Peak or Bust
It'll make it. I've ridden my PCX from the south of the USA east to the Appalachians, West over the Rockies, and now I'm in the Cascades in Washington State. It can do it. And while the scoot doesn't offer much slowing at higher speeds going down hill, at slower speeds if you apply throttle and let ...

Re: Things I love about my PCX!
I find it interesting that you are you so excited about the power outlet, as I don't see myself using it very often. I guess it comes handy if you need a GPS, but I would only use it to charge my phone. And in the 10 minutes it takes me to get to work from home, my phone wouldn't get much charge. Y...

Had a similar model on an sv650 once. When it rained, water found its way in. Have you had similar problems with the one on your Forza? Let us know if this one leaks - I may have just had a bad apple- thinking about adding this to PCX - pics please
looks pretty sweet so far!

Re: Yamaha tops PCX
I bought a PCX, I can't possibly in good faith even consider thinking that I made a mistake LOL so- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Seriously though, cool looking scooter and if it does 75 then I'll be just God-Da&ned , ugh, does it come in white? Haha Shush, my PCX just gave me a look, I gotta go.... ...

Things I love about my PCX!
I have a 2015 model, this is my first scooter, but this is my 7th two-wheeled motor. These are four things that I get googly eyed over for my PCX.. - integrated turn signals, love the look, feels cohesive - power adapter built in( before I had wire routed to battery) amazing, why don't all bikes hav...

Re: How cold will you ride?
My scoot is the only motor vehicle that I own, so I'm subjected to year round riding ( with pleasure ), but I must say its a bit easier for me being in the south. The coldest day this year I've ridden was around 30F, not too terribly bad. Sorry to everyone in the east right now - BUNDLE UP

Re: Givi T-492 Easy Large Saddlebags
Make sure to put some clear 3M or XPEL film on top of any painted areas the bags might rub on. You can buy such film on Amazon and other places. Otherwise, you'll likely have a nice sanding job done on your factory paint. Very good idea. In the past I haven't used anything like this and just accept...

Re: Givi T-492 Easy Large Saddlebags
So those are the side bags. Them seem a bit big for me. I think I'd be nervous with a full load in them. You probably know to keep the weight evenly balanced on both sides for safety sake. I have a small set and I'm very aware of how I fill them. Thanks for posting the pics. They are a good looking...

Re: Givi T-492 Easy Large Saddlebags
Nice bags. Are they easy to carry around as shoulder bags too? The bags look great. You can, though I haven't been using them that way ,mostly because I would need to undo the Velcro that I adjusted (for the under seat mounting) just to walk correctly, with either one over one shoulder, or one over...
