Re: How many miles do you expect out of your PCX?
I had 24,070 (in 2.5 years of driving) on my 2015 PCX this morning. I put about 1,300 miles a month on my scooter, and it holds up nicely for the heavy workload I require of it!

Re: scratched the Precious...
Make sure it is an original Honda panel Homie! I ordered a replacement part from somewhere overseas; and while it did fit, it was not as stiff as the original panel that I broke. The replacement panel was a lot more "flimsy", but it still works fine. If Precious needs to remain perfect . ....

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg
This summer I filled up and kept all driving at 40mph or under, and I got 132.3mpg and 271.7 miles on one tank of gas! MY PCX is a 2015 model and had 20,392 miles when I got the 132.3mpg reading.

Re: Annoying little thing I can't put my finger on
For the last month or so when I start up my PCX (from a cold start) and twist the throttle to ride, the scooter chokes and sputters like its going to stall, but then takes off and runs just fine. MPG and top speed have not changed. What bugs me now is when I am riding at a constant speed down the s...

Re: Annoying little thing I can't put my finger on
I don't think your belt has anything to do with your symptoms but you can look at that easy enough. I would go straight to the spark plug and then fuel issues giving any cold start missing and sputtering. Do you have any electrical history with your bike Brent (Add on's) or was your only mod the va...

Smaug,
Why not just rent a silverwing for the trip and keep the 150, since it fits your needs 95% of the time?!?

I have banned my two boys from wearing skinny jeans. I told them, "When I said you would spend the rest of your life trying to get into women's jeans . . . THAT is not what I meant!!!!!"

Re: Rear shocks upgrade options?
I fitted a pair of YSS Z-series shocks 2 years ago, still very happy. Speed bumps and such are so much better. Back end much more predictable. Got them at Bikerzbitz.com. I also bought and installed the YSS Z-series shocks from Bikerbitz. They are adjustable and I like them much better than the sto...

Thanks Mel! By the way, just pasted 20,700 miles on my 2015 piglet (Positive nickname! Not a big "Hog" but a smaller, funner, squirrelly bike!) Once I hit 24,901 miles, I am going to buy myself a trophy that has a world on top of it, where I will glue a small likeness of my PCX 150. I will...

Best after-market drive belt for NCY variator & drive face?
Anyone know if there is an after-market drive belt that can hold up better to NCY's variator and drive face than the stock Honda drive belt? I have been doing a lot of 65 to 70mph riding lately, and I am wondering about premature drive belt wear from the higher speeds. Thanks!

I have gone 172 miles in one day. It should be more aptly named "Numb Butt" instead of Iron Butt!

I randomly check my lights, usually while driving though.
Front lights: In the shiny chrome bumper of the vehicle in front of me at a stoplight, or in the window of a storefront.
Back lights: In the window of a store front looking into my rear view mirrors.

I broke a fin on my drive face as well that last time I put it back on. What would be the possible danger of using the stock Honda drive face as a template to drill two holes into the NYC drive face? Would that be crazy?!?

Re: PCX Speedo inaccuracy
I again went by a automated speed display that was on the freeway. I was doing 60mph and the sign said I was doing 60mph.
What bothers me more is the miles per gallon readout. For the entire two years I have owned my PCX, the mpg has been 10% over what my actual mpg has been.
Buggy.

Re: PCX Speedo inaccuracy
I have not found my speedometer to be off under 40 mph. I make it a habit to drive past known automatic radar stations to see what the station says my speed is vs. what the speedometer says I am going. My speedometer was on within one mile per hour at 25mph, 30mph, 40 mph, and 50mph. The speedometer...
