Problem solved, as much as can be! The strap hook is supposed to fold down to allow the battery to fit, it could not fold down as there was not enough room in the case. Dom't know if removing the strap will help, it seems the strap hook is what is holding it up. I will try removing the strap, if that doesn't work I'll use a Dremel tool and cut the hook off.

Is a dealer supplied battery, same part # as old battery.

New battery will not go all the way into the battery box, the hold down strap hook is preventing it from going all the way in.
