Ohlins on a PCX is overkill in my opinion.
YSS shocks are a nice upgrade for a decent price. I installed mine today and they made a big difference. Bumps are no longer something to be afraid of, though it's still best to avoid them with the PCX's thin tires.

Re: Seafoam
I too picked up some Sea Foam on sale. I use it in everything I own with an engine except for my car, which never sits long enough to need it.

Re: My 2013 Honda PCX build log
Finally got around to installing my pile of parts onto the PCX today. It took all day, mainly because I had to fabricate a new clutch holder after the one I had broke. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. It was too dark by the time I finished. Parts installed were: NCY Super Transmission Kit (minus the ...

Re: PCX water overheat issue ( red light icon )
i've tried the default cap, 1,1 cap still same problem :( may the 1,6 help me ? also some guy tell me it's the spark plug i use the cr6 or 7 not the cr9 so it may be the issue ? I think that may be a big part of your problem. If you are using the 6's, that's 3 steps hotter than the factory plugs. T...

I live nearby. Hopefully they are able to grow to the point of needing to hire some mechanical designer engineers.

Re: Transmission oil check/change !!
The book calls for 10w-30 so that's what I'd use since you have it on hand. I'm running Mobil 1 Hypoid 75w90 gear oil in my transmission. It's similar in viscosity to the 10w30 but seems to make the transmission a little quieter. Keep in mind, I have no evidence to back this up, it's just a hunch. Q...

Re: Anyone else have a Ruckus in addition to their PCX or Fo
Leave it. You'll have a few to go through. Me first. Nah, I just think of you like the old, drunken curmudgeon who lived at the end of my street as child. Yes, he was frequently unpleasant but sometimes it's just good fun to poke the bear. He claimed to hate us but secretly I think chasing us off, ...

Have FUN with your new 2014 Toy! (Please Think Safety, while making changes) Happy Trails No worries there. There'll be no fat tires or stretch kits on this Ruckus. As far as mods, I'm pretty much done. The list includes: Trail Tech Vapor Speedo & Tach Lowered Stock Seat Frame PWJDM Pegs MNNTHB...

Re: Anyone else have a Ruckus in addition to their PCX or Fo
I have a 50cc little Ruckus as well as a 250cc big Ruckus. Each bike serves a different need. Its good to have more than 1 bike. I couldn't agree more. I'm always looking to add another bike to the stable. I've got my eye on the Africa Twin and I'm still hoping to snag a deal on a leftover Forza. U...

Re: iv'e sold the forza.
"so decided to buy it back. ..., saving a lot of money ..." Um, I'd be very surprised if you did. Bet you lost a ton of money selling a 7-month-old bike and rebuying a bike at retail which you sold at wholesale. You paid dearly (again) for those accessories. I'd have to agree there. Based...

My 2013 Honda PCX build log
Well, build may not be the best description but I will be logging the mods to my 2013 PCX 150 here. Parts will be installed as soon as the weather cooperates. Pics and product reviews will follow shortly thereafter. I've got a dB meter and will be doing a comparison between the stock exhaust and the...

Re: Service Manual.....
Try this
When the new model came out, the older manual simply received an addendum. Keep this in mind when you are shopping. If you come across something that says its specifically for the 2015 and newer, it's likely just the addendum and not the full manual.

Anyone else have a Ruckus in addition to their PCX or Forza?
I picked up a 2014 Honda Ruckus at the beginning of the month and have been working on making it my own and fixing the previous owners mistakes. I bought the Ruckus to go where my PCX can't (shouldn't is a better word since the PCX hasn't ever gotten stuck). I'm really enjoying having something that...

I've heard nothing about this but I'd definitely be interested in one.
That picture is very confusing though. It looks like the carb is hooked up to the hybrid battery. That can't be right.

Re: Anyone try the TPR Racing 174.8cc big bore kit?
I noticed the gaskets and thought it looked familiar.
Didn't the multi-piece gaskets prove to be a problem with the Yuminashi kits? I'll admit that was my one issue with this kit when I found it.

Anyone try the TPR Racing 174.8cc big bore kit?
Has anyone tried this BBK yet? https://www.steadygarage.com/store/tpr-racing-62mm-174-8cc-big-bore-kit-for-honda-pcx-150 The pricing doesn't seem bad and it's in stock. Steady Garage is pretty popular in the Honda Ruckus scene, but I've never heard of TPR Racing. Any feedback on this kit would be gr...
