Has anyone tried this BBK yet? https://www.steadygarage.com/store/tpr- ... da-pcx-150
The pricing doesn't seem bad and it's in stock.
Steady Garage is pretty popular in the Honda Ruckus scene, but I've never heard of TPR Racing.
Any feedback on this kit would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone try the TPR Racing 174.8cc big bore kit?

The kitnis produced by a taiwanese company which has quite high reputation (also running whiteblabel batches for takegawa as I know). It seems to use a double bottom gasket the same way as the early yuminashi kits used to control compression and cam timing.
I have no further info though.

I noticed the gaskets and thought it looked familiar.
Didn't the multi-piece gaskets prove to be a problem with the Yuminashi kits? I'll admit that was my one issue with this kit when I found it.

I'm running the newest 13:1 compression ratio from Yuminashi and I can tell you their gasket are as thin as you can go.
Not sure if it's a good idea because although it runs beyond great, starting can be a real pain.

Contact Kevin at Steady Garage and ask them what they used on Longballer's green ruckus powered pcx build. It's probably using the same big bore kit. I know when i was talking to Longballer we wasn't thrilled on the top speed. I had to brake it down to him that he would need to use a taller gear set as the ruckus rims/tires are usually 10's.
