Re: lots of oil in the air filter
Mine usually has a small smear on the bottom of the air filter box never enough for it to actually flow in a dribble though! It's always done it

Re: Broken down :(
The recovery was free I'm covered by GEM motoring assist, it's personal cover so I'm covered whatever I'm traveling in. They dispatched a dedicated motorcycle recovery company and they take you wherever you ask. At 7am on a sat morning I didn't have lots of options so went with my nearest shop and t...

Re: Broken down :(
I've got the old one and the old rollers and stuff. I trust the bike shop that it went to before. Guessing it was just bad luck. I have noticed a few vibrations recently at certain speeds should have had it checked out really sooner really
150 quid for belt and roller change though

Re: Broken down :(
Not heard back from shop today so will be Monday now. I need to check my paperwork as I may not have waited until 15k it might have been around 12k when I changed it. I'm 99% sure I asked for a genuine belt, I'm very original parts for everything so can't see why I wouldn't of. I've got my original ...

Broken down :(
On my way to work this morning, approx 50mph bike wobbled a bit and lost power, thought the back tyre had let go but that's still up. Bike won't start, wheel spins freely, there was a little smoke coming from transmission housing so I'm suspecting a snapped belt, last changed 6k miles since. Have du...

Would imagine it's like my Honda CRZ hybrid where you can't use the motor without the engine on like you can in a prius

Re: locked key
I locked mine in ended up ripping mine off to get in as I had no tools with me! If you have access to a pair of kitchen tongs you should be able to get em out without damage

Locked my keys under the seat!
Three years of riding moment of cluelessness put my phone wallet and keys under the seat shut it sat on bike then realised!
I've snapped the seat off getting in so it's become detached at the bottom hinge, anybody done it and had it fixed?
