Re: stutter, close to cut off whilst riding
Sounds like the OP is lacking the necessary knowledge needed to diagnose the problem. I suggest he takes it to the repair shop and let them run the tests (compression, timing, performance of the fuel and ignition systems, sensors, exhaust performance, etc). There can be too many things causing these...

Re: Lifespan
Many many variables go into the lifespan of the engine. These are: number of cold starts, duration of heat up cycle, ambient temperature, load, load until fully warmed up, quality of the fuel, assembly of the engine, ring clearance, valve clearance, bearing clearance, amount of dust particles in the...

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
Sounds like someone has trouble reading the oil level. The dipstick may be getting some oil on in from contact with the walls. Only the hashed section is what needs to be read. Hard to explain to an inexperienced person. They got to be able to tell the difference on the dipstick between smears and t...

Update on my 2018 PCX
Well, clocked 14,000 trouble free miles. Still on stock front original IRC and on second rear (Michelin). Just changed the spark plug. Been riding it on longer trips for the most parts (e.g. 3 days, Los Angeles to Nevada). No oil consumption unless all day long at WOT, then would need to add a bit i...

Hello. PCX is a scooter, not a moped. No pedals or hints their of.
Agree with comments above, if you are on calm and slow roads and you have time, that's a perfect scooter for the job.

What's the problem? The operation of shocks is checked by examining the components and refilling with specified amount of oil. The shock should create noticeable resistance when extended by hand. What you are observing may very well be normal.

The wealthy ones want people to give away their cars, their homes, their identity, so the wealthy ones have even more wealth at the expense of the masses.

Definitely all the fluids. THe coolant is used up at this age and so is the brake fluid, just from the time and contact with the parts and the atmosphere.

63,500 mi........Oil change @ 5,000 mile intervals. [10w30 full synthetic] So far , so good. You get the prize. What year is yours? Not even close I'm afraid - babisbabou is up to 195,000km / 121,775 miles. Anywhere online to reference this? Seems incredibly high for such a small engine unless it h...

Re: PCX 125 Died Mid Ride
If the engine stopps turning with the start button pressed, it would mean there is a strong mechanical resistance inside, likely a seized piston or broken rings, or something with the rod/valve. In either case, not good. Plug the spark plug hole with some newspaper and see if it shoots out, if you d...
