Re: How-To: Install Heated Grips
Just wanted to say a thank you to smartecosse for the info in this thread and to add to it slightly with my own experience. I bought and fitted the Oxford light heated grips last year but just connected them direct to the battery thinking I'd be able to cope with remembering to turn them off, well a...

Re: Summers here! (for a day.. in the UK)
Got knocked off my bicycle by a car a couple of months ago at approx 25mph wearing shorts and a long sleeve top, I can confirm it f***ing hurts a lot when you slam into the tarmac and the loss of skin is a real pain in more ways than one, so my advice GEAR UP

Re: Yorkshire 'Meet Up'?
Last years ride out to Squires was good craic so another ride and meet up is a good idea but for me it was during mine and my PCX's honeymoon period and the novelty has since worn off, I ride it to work and back (which is after all what I bought it for) and that's it really, if I want to get out at ...

The Tucano Urbano neoprene covers are the best I've found, they make a big difference. http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/489x489/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/t/u/tucano-urbano-r360-bar-muffs-2.jpg They do 2 different types R360 & R361, the R361 is for bikes with...

WOW! You clearly have a great eye for a great picture, some of your shots are simply stunning
You've reminded me how little I've used my camera over the last couple of years, really must get back into it, not that any of mine are a patch on yours mind you.

Re: Barnsley area
Well that's the first ever uk PCX meet done and dusted then although as there was only actually 2 PCX's there perhaps we should call it a mini meet ;) The weather was near on perfect with actual real live sunshine which had brought out loads of bikers at Squires, once we finally got there that is, e...

Yeah probably best if you don't turn up an hour late as then I'll have to arrange alternative transport home as I'll have ended up inside the Whitwood Inn drinking beer

Okey dokey then, so I mentioned before about meeting at the Whitwood Inn which is here - http://goo.gl/maps/B6Ec4 For those of you coming from Leeds here's reasonably quiet route you can follow to get there - http://goo.gl/maps/bxdPI And once everyone is there I was thinking we could follow this rou...

Re: invisible bike helmet
Interesting idea, technically impressive but I won't be getting one for riding my bicycle, especially after riding around on the PCX with full face helmet, my bicycle helmet now feels like putting on a paper hat.

Had my 1st service done at the same dealer I bought it from last Monday, cost me £40, could have sworn they quoted £75 when I asked before I bought the bike so said nothing paid my £40 and got out of there quick ;) Don't blame you. £40 isn't the end of the world. Which dealers Castles, in err...

Re: What would you change on the PCX
A clock, better rear suspension (the ride on country roads is erm bouncy to say the least), bigger fuel tank & slightly more height in the under seat storage (my helmet doesn't fit properly under there).

My Tracks - it's a Google app, logs top speed, average speed, distance, altitude, gradient etc and plots it all onto a map and you can upload it to Google Maps too.

How did you get your fuelly to work? Login to fuelly, click the vehicle you want in your garage, scroll down the bottom and click on the little golden shield icon, then copy from either the first box for large or small banner the text between the [IMG] tags including those tags and then just paste ...
