Yeah, concerned me too. Trying to use the stuff that's in it and it's running perfect at the moment.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
My 2011 PCX has 21,500 miles on it now. Had it 5 years but its just been sat in the garage for the last 18 months as I've been working from home.
Fired up 1st press of the starter (although it is on a battery tender). Still runs sweet and has given no bother.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
Bought my 2011 PCX in February 2016 when it had 13,265 miles on it. Got almost 22,000 on it now and it's been a perfectly reliable means of getting to work.

Re: Small accident - PCX 125, 2013 needs replacement fairing
I got a fairing replament from 'Power by PCX' in Thailand. Took a while to get to uk but no import duty and it was cheap for a genuine Honda part.

I think it's a connector and indicates the wire colours. May be a bit easier to figure with slightly more of the image.
Edit: was looking at the wrong thing! They are LEDs.

Re: Oil change / Service
The filter is just a wire gauze shaped like a thimble rather than a traditional paper filter. Clean any debris off and it will be good as new assuming the rubber seal on the open end is in decent condition. I change oil every 2500 miles on my PCX but I have never changed the filter. I just give it a...

Re: whos pcx has the most miles and how many miles is it
My 2011 has about 18,500 miles and is used for commuting (approx 2,500 miles per year). Annual miles may drop a bit as I'm cycling to work a couple of times a week now.

Or even better buy an air/cooled scoot. Not sure why the roll eyes. Seems a reasonable question to me. this isn't something Ive considered yet for maintenance. At what point is it necessary or recommended? I have 7000 miles on my 2013. No issues with overheating. I do check the amounts regul...

like what happened to Robert Dunlop when his rear wheel broke at the Isle of Man TT years ago. Talk about having the rug pulled out from under you. . .. Brought back memories. Was my first time at the TT in 1994 and we watched the race from Ballaugh Bridge where the accident happened. Didn't...

Re: battery replacement interval
Yes Iceland. Thing was the bike was starting fine, then the next lights it was dead.
I knew there was no protection on 2011 models but figured it would give me a warning - maybe engine being slow to turn over. But nothing. Fine at one stop, dead at the next. Switched stop start off

Re: battery replacement interval
My battery is 2 years old and has been working fine although it's only a cheap replacement. Been using the stop start recently and stopped for 5 minutes. Scooter wouldnt restart and i had to call the other half out with jump leads. Going to look at adding a jump pack under the seat https://www.lexte...

Re: Is something wrong with my 2011 pcx
In response to SPOFF, my 2011 does hit bang on 65mph but it does have a fairly recent belt on it. I can definitely feel it hit the rev limiter as a slight misfire. Actually thinking now, my belt has around 5,000 miles on it. Wonder if pcxflame's belt has been changed for a slightly different differe...

Re: Is something wrong with my 2011 pcx
I have a 2011 125 also and it typically does 120mpg (UK gallons) and reads 65mph on the Speedo. My commute is 6 minutes,as at 30-40mph.
Worth checking the air filter to see if it's clogged and the brakes aren't binding.

I know it's off topic, but the UK is most definitely a country. You don't get English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish passports, but UK passports. England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are not listed individually in the International Organisation for Standardisation list of countries and ...

Hi and welcome, pcxflame. You've just stumbled upon a fairly hot topic around here, which is probably why nobody except foolish ol' me has jumped up and answered your question yet. Let me give it a shot: I'd say there are three valve adjustment theory groups here on the forum. People in the first g...

Re: Oxford hot grips and Tucano muffs.
I installed heated grips first and muffs after. There are a couple of different types of muff and I have the r362x which don't fix to the end of the grips. The r363x muffs fit different and I can't comment on those. I took no special precaution and it all worked together just fine. Had to cut the le...

Re: Oxford hot grips and Tucano muffs.
Seany, I have oxford heated grips and urban tucano bar muffs fitted to my PCX. I still use autumn gloves and my hands are fine in sub zero temps. Admittedly my commute is only 7 miles but the grips get too hot to hold unless you wear quite thick gloves, so I have to turn them down! All in, grips and...
