Re: New belt making slight squeal low speed

Mostly when I'm slowing down there be maybe 2-3 second squeal at around the 10-20mph mark Old belt was very worn out and I fitted new belt and the variator did look a bit worn out didn't look shiny either Is there a chance variator is causing the issue just strange since having oem new belt I got t...

1 TIP: do your first adjustment and forget about it, until you can feel that bike rattles or sounds strange because doing it every 5k miles it is nonsense.

Re: Bike randomly shut off at traffic light for 2nd time tod
Open spark plug cover, take spark plug cap off, unscrew spark plug. Take spark plug cap and put it back on a spark plug, is it comes off easy? or with effort? have a look inside the spark plug cap you need to see if there is corrosion, is there is a piece of metal in place that holds spark plug cap ...

Re: Oil going low
Looks like you are from the UK judging from your link. The Kit you linked has it all. I also included a timing chain, timing chain tensioner as I hear they are prone to go after 50k km. But the kit is a solid start. Just source out a supplier for the odd bits and pieces you may need while doing the...

Re: Oil going low
Retry, your not alone in your experience. I have a 2013 150 PCX, now up to 51,000km or about 30,000miles. I find the need to top up my oil to the sum of about 250ml every 1000km. Or 50ml per fil up roughly. I recognize my riding habbits have contributed to the wear, but figure since I just love rid...

Re: Oil going low
Your consumption is significant. ....probably not completely out of order considering having been run 31,000 miles at WOT. At what mileage did you notice this consumption? A valve check at the recommended miles is a good idea.....but won't fix your oil use. Riding habits did that. Fish around 2000 ...
