I sure hope I don't have a catastrophic failure at 65mph using Mobil1 or Royal Purple 75w90. I really think the 10w30 or 10w40 would run a little easier thus helping emissions during certification. But I just drive the Space Shuttle I don't work on it!!

Re: Adjustable PCX150 Windshield
White Noise, I was wondering if you ever bought anything online before? When you order a part for your scooter or something for your home, do you ask them for a sketch, material it is made of? I'm sure if you ordered a seat you could ask the manufacturer what materials it's made of, what kind of thr...

Adjustable PCX150 Windshield
I was wondering how many PCX150 owners would be interested in an adjustable windshield? Adjustable up and down and tilt forward or back. Manual adjustment and at least 2 different heights of windshields. I am doing a little market research on the feasibility of producing this. Would need a big inter...

Re: Givi 323DT and Oxford rainseal mitts
Where did you order that windshield from? I've never seen one like that. The GIVI I have is a POS! Buffeting is terrible and loud. Someone needs to come out with a windshield that is adjustable for different conditions and riding. You read reports about someone ordering a windshield and installing i...

Get on eBay and look for GrabOn grip covers. Look for the free shipping ones. I bought 2pair last time and I think I paid $12 and change for each pair.

Re: valave adjustment,first time
I did mine pretty quick. I took the seat off, removed the luggage box, and the little access door on the left side of scoot. I wanted to adjust the idle speed and do the valves. I wish they came with a factory tach instead of doing it by ear. Also changed the engine oil and diff oil. All that took a...

Re: PCX125 gas mileage for larger riders
Vanbibj, to get the best mpg possible, make sure to help your scooter as much as you can to achieve the best results. Keep your tires aired up a few psi more than the manual says. Make sure to use 10w30 synthetic oil. Even if it's Walmart brand. Make sure to change your differential oil to synthetic...

My PCX running WOT is running fine in this 96* temp and 70% humidity. Took my Honda Metropolitan out with a carburetor and WOT it was fine! My Yamaha TW200 did well also!

2013 Honda PCX150 fuel tank replacement! Bigger??
The title may be a little bit misleading but in my quest for more fuel capacity has had me combing the Internet. It seems like the 2015 bigger fuel capacity may not be that far fetched. Let me list some parts and numbers and prices for all to digest! 2013 PCX- Fuel Tank- 17510-KZY-P90- $80.60 Fuel F...

Re: First long journey on my PXC - need advice.
Finally did a longish journey. I did 90 miles and the same back home 2 days later. I enjoyed the ride. It was quite tough on the old backside so if I was doing it again I would probably reorder the seat pad I cancelled. Was let down by my sat nav app on my phone which kept stopping. I learned the g...

With the bigger cc kit, did you also change the Variator and weights? What about the rear clutch and spring? Does the 165cc kit, and if I use the stock 150cc head, (I have a 2013 PCX150) what kind of horsepower increase? Or just better mid range pull? I need more rideability power, I have plenty of ...

Re: Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 full synthetic generator oil
I have used Shell Rotella 5w40 syn for years. I've used it in my 8yr old Kohler powered mower, various power equipment and motorcycles ect. I have never had a problem. If you go on KLR650.net you will find that a lot of riders use this oil. Sopposedly there is no moly in the oil, which could cause w...

I am six foot, and went with the tall Honda screen...and it was great for the chest compressions resulting from the stock shield, but it beat my head like a malt liquor hangover... Since I was already in with the Honda screen (in for a pound and many pennies) I opted to get the extender here: http:...

Got the new exhaust on today. Sounds awesome. Will post video as soon as I can That looks sweet on your scooter! Did you get an aftermarket air filter? Also I had heard that you should unhook your battery (+ and -) for at least 30 minutes to reset the ECU. After upgrades were done you can hook it b...

Re: Bigger Fuel Tank for 2013 PCX
I'm not thinking it will be all that easy of a swap. They aren't the same at all. Then there's the fuel pumps which are inside the tank, and they are different from the 2013 and 2015 models. You would probably have to tinker with your ECU. To be honest, I'm getting 100+ mpg. On the stock tank, I fi...

Out of the 6 bikes that you listed the Honda CB500x and possibly the Yamaha Tmax. I have 4 different bikes now. I enjoy riding all of them depending on the ride and distance. If I were to get a CB500x or a Kawasaki KLR650 I think I would also have to have a roomy transcontinental pavement burner. I'...

Then the ...
