i have another pcx 150cc 2012 my is 9.5 HP on the dynojet, i haven't test the top speed yet ( it is the new engine ) which i believe should be 115-120km/h or so. I was wondering a bit about buying J.Costa variator or KOSO/Dr pulley variator + cluches, i want to know if they really give me any top sp...

i'm using an akrapovic titan exhaust.....but the problem is i can't find legit bracket for it, the bracket always break .......i feel like to use smth small and not so heavy for the exhaust....

I'm using Yuminashi 62mm kit 175cc and using longer crankshaft with bigger valves 31/25 it is 196cc now.........

Austin racing & sc project exhaust
my friend gonna sell me these 2 exhaust with cheap price. I intend to get one for my pcx it's 164cc now will upgrade it to 175 and with 30/24mm valves. I know that these are for motorbike mostly but is it ok to use them for scooter ?

My disc is 220mm though.....same size as the stock disc so in my case 240mm or 260mm disc would give me better result

4 piston caliper vs 6 piston caliper
i've been using dual 4 piston calipers front brake, and 1 piston caliper rear brake and i feel safe under 90km/h
I just wonder if i change them into 6 piston calipers front, 3 piston rear would it be safer at higher speed ?, normally i ride around 80-100 and some area up to 120-130....

Just a quick reply to avoid this ropic to die off. Nice setup, and a lot of time and resources invested. As scooters have continously variable transmissions, the best way to get them dynoed is to lock the variator and exacly measure the engine power available at certain RPMs, like here. http://s742...

This is the original valve springs 10 without yuminashi camshaft 10hp with the cam it can reach up to 13.98hp which give me best acceleration but i got warned not to go pass 120/125.... i've tried the default cap, 1,1 cap still same problem
may the 1,6 help me ? also some guy tell me it's the spark plug i use the cr6 or 7 not the cr9 so it may be the issue ?

So far i have install the SPL 164cc kit from yuminashi and the PGM-fi controller everything is fine until i have the camshaft installed and ignition increased ( a little) from the pgm-fi controller, if i run normal mode under 60km i'm fine for 30 minutes or 1hour, if i go over 60 it happens faster. ...
