A Plug kit, C02 cartridges, and in the past year started carrying a fully charged Air Hawk hand held air compressor. Where I ride there's often no cell service and very little traffic. The Air Hawk is also good for checking and inflating tires prior to heading out for a ride.

Some mild drizzle but all in all, it was a beautiful day. Homie, you talked about taking the same ride and seeing how close the cars come to the edge. On two different occasions I have watched tires slip off the edge. Very close to a disaster and of course, from time to time, someone does go complet...

Got an unexpected ride in this morning from Kaanapali to Kahakuloa. Thought I'd share these pics. Two are from Honoloa Bay looking towards Kapalua. And no trip to Kahakuloa is complete without a stop at Julia's. Those who have been there know what I'm saying.

Homie, looks like you were riding the north shore of West Maui. One of my favorite rides. As you drive through the village of Kahakuloa, stop by Julia's banana bread shack, the banana bread is outrageous.

Thanks gn2 and Mel. I do use mesh, have a Hi-viz Teknic mesh jacket and my gloves are mesh with leather on the knuckles. I also have some type of a cooling vest that I soak in ice water. It absorbs a lot of water and while underway the evaporative process does keep me cool. But it really gets me too...
