Re: Seats from Thailand
Received this seat today from Thailand, took 8 days. Model Flat004 from mpmotorseat Seat is noticeably flatter, although there is a slightly hard to sit on part which I assume is the hump (visible on the inside of the seat moulding) where they have skimmed over with minimal foam to try and keep a ni...

Upgrade aux socket on LED model
Just wondering if anyone has changed out their aux socket in the glove box to something of higher amps say 2.1? It says on the small dust cover max 1amp. Most smartphones these days require 2.1a so was wondering if there's and easy fix to increase the output. Had a quick look and couldn't figure out...

Re: CRP Performance Exhaust 125/150
That dyno chart must be bollocks. For one the 125 doesn't make that much power and an exhaust alone on a commuter scooter isnt going to give a 10% power increase

Re: Where can I find a guide on rear shock replacement?
If you are a cynical sort, then Honda DID think about access to send work to "the man". Makes sense, I couldn't see the average scooter rider attempting it. I might be able to apply for a job at a Honda dealership after completing 3 first services this weekend! They quoted $300-400 Austra...

Re: Where can I find a guide on rear shock replacement?
Did the shocks today whilst doing the first service. Managed the lot in under 3 hours ;) both valves were tighter than spec so I loosened them up to bring them within spec. I have the YSS Z series on stock preload and they are a world of difference over speed bumps and the odd bump. Will set the sta...

This kit was just released early this year. Maybe it's for the led models and maybe they have a threaded cap? Will check mine 2 x 2015 models and see if so

Where can I find a guide on rear shock replacement?
Had a quick search but only found other stuff. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a guide showing how to replace rear shocks? I have done a valve adjustment before and assuming you only need to remove a fraction of the plastics to reach the top mount?

Re: PCX150 fell on its side
I'm living in Brisbane at the moment chicaboo but moving to the sunshine coast soon. My power didn't go out at Salisbury at all thank god and no damage or trees blown down. Yes DAB Mackay and the surrounds got battered by 260km/h winds, fair bit of damage. The system became ex-tropical shortly after...

Re: PCX150 fell on its side
Ok whipped the plug out, cranked it for 30 secs then plug back in. Started but a bit rough for 30 seconds or so then came good. Hopefully I don't need to goto those extremes PCX150Rider but appreciate your reply. Will report back if any issues arise.

PCX150 fell on its side
Hi, We are copping a decent weather event here with almost a months worth of rain in a day. I had the pcx150 parked out on the grass on the centre stand and due to the huge rain and ground softening the pcx fell on its right side for I don't know how long. Thankfully no visible damage as it landed o...

Ok well a bit more info, I'm 88kg (195lb) and ride on my own mostly but when 2 up with the wife they struggle, she is 66kg (145lb). Do you think the XL would be the choice? Also where did you buy yours from? Can only see bikerbitz (cheapest of the two) and powerbypcx

I see YSS Z Series, YSS G Series and a few others in between. What is the general consensus on rear shocks for these chariots?
Also where to snare a good deal?

Hi, It's good to hear how much joy such a simple thing can bring to your life! My PCX150, my wifes and my brothers all bring us great joy with the possibilities of parking in a coastal town with very limited parking and ease of navigating through traffic when the holiday crowds arrive. We are all av...

Yeah, you've been doing well with your small fleet of PCXs! My buddy just got gouged on his red 2012 PCX with 6500kms. Financed for $3k plus on road costs from Team Moto Springwood... It goes like the clappers, though! Mel just be right about the red ones? I think I have a broken clutch shoe spring...
