Re: Impressions from the first ride on the PCX.
My first impression was a smile as big as it gets. I typically ride big bore motorcycles. My other two wheeled frenzy is the Victory High Ball with a hopped up engine. I find the PCX smooth, quiet, refreshing and crazy fun. Any speeds up to 60mph I love on this bike. I can't get it to go faster then...

Re: Mom allows "scooter"
Great photos maddiedog.
I like the Foothills parkway.
Enjoy those roads every year.
The scooter has got to be fun on the mountain roads.
As for the best bike would go with 250cc instead for highway use. Don't even get on a freeway on a PCX.

Re: Small back rest and chrome bar around back of seat
I am working to develop a replacement for the "Seat Lump" riders backrest with a new piece that allows you to move back in the seat by about 2" and slide mount a custom rack that affords you the easy mounting of tail bags. I'm open to developing additional items for the PCX 150 and ev...

Re: Have you got the hump?
Ken that sounds interesting. Can you show us a rough sketch of your "remove that hump and see my quick connect plate?" You might be onto something good/neat here ;) Hi WhiteNoise I completed my design today and our CNC machine shop (in house) will machine my clear polycarbonate piece tomo...

Re: Bump in the night
Technically the dog owner should be responsible.
Fact is you must travel at times when you must.
Glad you are OK and the bike can be fixed.
Don't ride at night if you can avoid it and never in the fog.
Stay safe!

Re: Have you got the hump?
I am removing that "back rest hump" and inventing a new plastic machined piece to mount there that allows me to move
back further in the seat and quick mount a new flat plastic plate to it that will allow for a tail bag to quick connect.
Anyone interested in one?
I'll post pics soon.

Re: Hi, I'm new here and considering buying a PCX in Califor
what part of CA? In los Angeles I've known 3 other people with PCX's and we all paid near the $5000 mark I've heard this and seen this before. Even had some loon in Chicago quote me 5300 out the door on a new PCX 150. That's insane. I paid 3948 OTD and even financed most of it. I will not pay over ...

Re: Hello, my name is Ozzy, I am from Ohio, got PCX 150 in A
Hey Ozzy, Nice to meet you. I'm from Illinois. How did you manage a 2013 out the door at that price? Mine was a good price out the door at 3948 with no set up or delivery fees. Glad you scored it though. I felt bad for our local big box cycle shop, they are really hurting. Guess I made someone have ...

Re: 214mpg on a scooter?
My friend Craig Vetter of the Vetter motorcycle fame has been working on this for over thirty years. See his work at www.craigvetter.com I sent that article to him. He most likely knows this person. Craig will throw up some quick refutes like what is his top speed? How does he put his feet down? Wha...

Re: PCX Christmas Decoration Ideas
This is a great idea.
I hope we do something like this over here in the states. At Xmas you may be in 6 inch deep snow here in Illinois (land of Lincoln and Obama-absolutely no comparison there-and a whole bunch of folks who are not smart enough to move south to Atlanta!)

Re: New PCX top speed???
Wheel bearings.......brakes.........tire size............
Many things on a scooter are not designed to run over a specified speed. You can hot rod anything you like
but perhaps your personal pilot should take this baby out on the roads and test it for you should your math
be off a bit.
LOL

Re: Comfortable slip on Grip Covers
Well.......thanks to all. Just ordered me a pair this morning.
I've seen these for BMW bikes and they look like a good choice.
I have found the stock grips to be a bit too small a diameter for my hands.
I'm used to Ape Hangers on my Victory.

Re: Too tall to ride a pcx 150 without looking like a freak?
Welcome and enjoy. I'm just under 6 foot and don't care what folks think. The other night I rode my PCX downtown in front of a popular eatery in our town and did circles in the street while wearing a beanie that my brother-in-law Harley riding buddy bought me. I wanted to embarrass him and he just l...

Re: How to: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
So are you guys saying the PCX 150 does not require a first service valve check and adjustment at 600 miles?
My book says 600 miles then every 2500.
Isn't this the case?
Same was true on my Yamaha TW 200 a single piston thumper.
