Re: Bike Test Auto UK
Motorcycle Theory Test (Taken at your local Theory Test DVLA Centre) - £35 (Retake after 3 working days) Module 1 (Off Road circuit) - £15.50 (Retake after 3 working days) Module 2 (On Road examination ride) - £75 (Retake after 10 working days) So without any training you can take all three for just...

Re: Bike Test Auto UK
I have just this week passed my test on my own PCX, in hindsight should have gone for a category A2 automatic instead however it is not only difficult finding training centres with at least 395cc automatics but (to cut a long story short) I have time limiting reasons for getting my licence now. Will...

Re: CNC adjustable alumin(i)um Brake Levers from Ebay
Looks nice! What does the adjusting feature do? Thanks, just the handspan, which is real "handy"..always found I was overreaching with the stock levers...smack bang in the middle on setting "3" suits me just fine. Had to adjust the freeplay on the rear drum to compensate which i...

Re: Disc Lock Help
I use a Xena XX6 on my PCX, you definitely need a 6mm pin one for the disk brake. Piercingly loud...main downside I find is fitting the battery and stealthfully trying to remove the damn thing..key poised at the ready making sure it goes into the lock barrel and turned in one swift movement else it ...

Re: Kappa top cases???
Yep...can confirm it is just fine, bought a second hand Kappa K35 Monolock Top Box (looks very similar to the Givi E370) which works fine in conjunction with the Givi E231 fitting kit for the PCX.

CNC adjustable alumin(i)um Brake Levers from Ebay
Have to say I am amazed at the quality of the levers I have just bought from Ebay for a fraction of the cost the usual adjustable levers go for, especially with international shipping. Ordered a pair of levers from accessorie-store (Hal-Fox) on Ebay (Item no. 321051161343) on 19th April, China based...

I would just go the whole hog unless you really like the hump and just have a hump-ectomy and get the seat recovered.

Re: Bike Bling!
My parents ordered me one as a christmas present last year, I had the black face one ordered from their website thought it would look good with my own red PCX. This company has been listed on here before and consistently praised. The Seiko ones I believe are older stocks and listed cheaper on Ebay s...

Seem very effective at giving you extra presence from the sides, work well.

Re: Lead with red cap in Battery Compartment
I think possibly it is, I have looked at the wiring diagram posted on this forum and it looks like it is listed as the DLC. If that is the case I notice that the b/w lead from it is also linked to the ignition, however there are two leads from the ignition r/w and b/w which one is the switched live ...

Lead with red cap in Battery Compartment
Had to charge my battery, went flat on me, looks like even with my hot grips turned off power must be being drawn from the battery...will have to get round to fitting a relay to wire both it and a 12V socket to. Anyway, when installing back the battery I noticed this lead with a red cap on it, didn'...

Sorry to hear about your mishap.
My PCX 125 eSP definitely does not have that switch under the seat.

New PCX 125 eSP - Petrol Blue
Noticed Honda's rather odd image for this bike, the so called Petrol Blue PCX, looking more like Mint Green. http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/_assets/images/products/full/right/PCX125-STD-B183.png I managed to find a proper image from a dealer, definitely is Petrol Blue...kind of nice colour, one ...

Mirror Stem Extenders
Does anyone else here have problems with the stock mirrors on the PCX being able to get decent visibility? Or is it just me? I find they have to be bent as far on their stems nearly as vertically as I can get the stalks for me to get any sort of vision. I am an average height of just over 5ft 9. Has...

Re: Identifying what model of PCX125
I can confirm the UK does have eSP 125 models introduced during the summer of 2012 with the launch of the Red PCX of which I own. Honda have now added a Petrol Blue 125 PCX to the UK market also with the newer eSP engine. I would presume existing colours Black, White and Grey Silver will also switch...

I personally fail to see how hls is to blame after the explanation..care to explain how maddiedog from hls account of it what they could have done differently in hindsight? How could they have moved away better from the vehicle after being in a different lane?
