2024 SH125i PCX replacement
I recently bought the above and besides other things really miss this forum, there doesn’t seem to be an equivalent forum for the SH125 on the web. I wanted to change as the “hump” on the PCX was getting more of a problem for my ageing legs to negotiate ,although the new bike is a fine machine, ther...

Re: UK New pcx for old?
In the UK we are only allowed the 125, mainly aimed at learner riders. Not sure if I like the keyless idea,, my 2018 is starting to rust, thanks anyway.

Centre stand spring
Just removed centre stand to lubricate it, found an easier way to keep the spring under control instead of using coins, no uk coins would go in! I used baling wire, spread the spring using flat bladed screwdriver and insert a two inch lof baling wire into each coil gap It worked well, Hope this help...

Re: Battery for 2018 PCX 125 UK
Thanks for replying, I've also had Yuasa although not quite at this price. I can't find the age of the Yuasa batteries as both of them don't seem to have date stamps that make any sense,or actually are date stamps. Think I'll try the cheap ones, you're right about the warranty, not worth worrying abo...

Battery for 2018 PCX 125 UK
Hi all, I have already replaced my battery (a Yuasa) once on my 2018 PCX, and now it needs another one, the charging system is fine, and there's no parasitic draw. As the battery cost over £80, I am thinking of replacing it with a cheap make that has a 2 year warranty rather than the one year Yuasa g...

Re: Fuel fill door works intermittently
Tap the fuel flap at the same time as operating the switch, my 2018 model does this, tried cleaning/lubricating but can be embarrassing at the pumps if it sticks. One of the few cheap and nasty things I’ve found with mine.

Re: Citygrip 2 tyres
Well, all done , I used a torque wrench, I wouldn’t use the impact driver to tighten anything . Test rode , no problems, hopefully won’t get another puncture, fingers crossed. Nice talking to you

Re: Citygrip 2 tyres
Thanks for that, did you torque the hub nut? Luckily I had an impact driver bought from Lidl last year to shift it. Just waiting to take tyre to garage, then might put it back together tonight, have to get some Loctite though.

Citygrip 2 tyres
I have ordered a new rear tyre for my 2018 PCX 125, it’s a Michelin Citygrip 2, apparently they are now front/rear compatible with an up rated speed index. The original got a puncture well over a year ago, I plugged it, and have had no air loss for all that time, noticed a slow leak the other day, s...

Re: Kick/side stand strength for pillion
Thanks for all the tips, she’s only been on the back twice, first time me on first holding bike, almost as above, 2nd time with the kickstand as stated. Nothing bad happened, but will only do the first method now as the strain on kickstand was when she was shuffling back on the seat, as she got on t...

Re: Kick/side stand strength for pillion
Thanks, just tried it with me holding the bike on left and wife getting on the right hand side, it didn’t bend the stand, but I’m not really happy about it. Didn’t dare show wife “it won’t take the weight”

Kick/side stand strength for pillion
I would like my pillion to get on before me due to our ageing limbs not working as well as they used to , anyone have their pillion mount the PCX while it’s on the kick stand? Any possibility of damage to said stand?
