BTW, helmets are uncomfortable in my experience because they are the wrong shape for your head. Find a shop that knows how to fit a helmet - it really does make a difference.

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
Wow. You must have REALLY wanted the mod - what a lot of work. I admire your courage to modify your new machine. The job came out great! Not so much that I wanted the mod, more like I needed it due to my knees being in my throat. I was too cramped up on this bike & after looking at different sc...

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
So, is this a Forza or a PCX? It's in the Forza 300 section. I'm confused - my wife says I am all the time, so no big deal...…...   yes its complicated. Future searchers will never find this. I suggest admin do something... anything at this point. Rename it, move it, separate it. We...

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
I agree with George that was FUN! A person would really have to want it bad for the effort but Daham nice work! One of the down sides of scooters over all other bikes is the running boards concerning your dirty, muddy or oily boot riding on them. I find myself wiping down the runners and windscreen...

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
Also, I forgot to mention....If any of you decide to do this you have to Make Sure that the brackets bolted to the U-channel don't come down any lower than the bottom edge of the U-channel or the plastics Won't clear when reinstalling. Ask me how I know this! Yup, just when I thought I was done I ha...

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
I'm going to attempt uploading some pics to show exactly what I've done and how I did it if anyone is interested in doing this mod. Being 6'2" I couldn't even ride my bike for any extended period of time before getting cramped up. Now my legs are basically straight with a slight bend at the kne...

Re: Highway Pegs
There have been many discussions on how to attach highway pegs and still be able to lean into sharp curves. Some members enjoy taking their scooters to The Dragon's Tail up in Tennessee, where there are more curves per mile than any other U.S. road. I can appreciate your comment and the leaning cap...

Re: Highway Pegs - PCX
I'm looking to install highway pegs on my PCX for more comfort on long rides. Has anyone done this or know of a way to do this? No idea on how to do this. How tall are you? The Forza seat does not allow a tall person to move back. Putting pegs sticking out ruins the aerodynamics of a relatively low...

Highway Pegs
Since I'm 6'2" I needed more leg room on my PCX. Since there really isn't an easy way to attach any type of pegs I fabricated some mounting brackets so I can run any type of motorcycle pegs I want. I will attach some photos of what I did and I'm in the process of customizing the plastics as I p...
