Re: Trunk Mount?
I went to Revzilla's site, told them what bike I had, what topcase I wanted to mount and they gave me the info I needed. I ordered the mount from them and it fit beautifully (about $96 but well worth it). My topcase is a Givi monolock and the mount went right into the marked spots on the tail.

Re: Forza Tow Pack
Please don't judge....he had to ride that day since it was his only afternoon off and it needed to be taken to winter storage and it WAS above freezing. Black ice doesn't care. And we did take a rider course (and he's done thousands of miles on a number of scoots) but unless you've gone down on blac...

Re: Forza Tow Pac
The Piaggio still leans too much and could tip over pretty easily according to someone in our club who owns one. Never sat on one though so can't verify that. The Ryker is considerably less (about 30% less than the Spyder RT) but has no backrest option and wouldn't work if we decide to take a two-up...

Re: Forza Tow Pack
Thanks all. Just was doing a little "what if" since my hubby decided he wanted to be on 3 wheels instead of 2 now. He had a bicycle accident, breaking one arm and 2 years later, a scooter accident (hit black ice) breaking the other. Thought he could still stay on his Forza if it was made i...

Thanks for clarifying that White Noise. Yes. I was actually referring to the Trike conversion kits. Thanks.

Forza Tow Pack
Could anyone tell me a bit about putting a tow pack on a Forza 300? What kind of cost to buy and have installed, does the ride feel different, what size wheels are on one, etc.? And, does anyone know of one available near southeast SD?

Re: My New Machine - Can Am Ryker
Good for you! We're considering a Can Am Spyder for my hubby. I'll still ride my Forza but he had an accident on his bicycle, breaking his arm/elbow very badly and then a couple of years later, he hit black ice on his Forza, breaking his other arm. He's a writer so those are pretty much "job ki...

Re: Suggestions for the best way to tie down a load
You might be able to fit it under the seat, especially if you divided it up into 2 bags. Just take a small garbage bag along and some twist ties.

Re: Rain Gear
We were on a trip a couple of years ago and encountered a sudden downpour in the countryside. We thought we'd make it to the next town before it hit, but didn't. With all my riding gear on (except wearing jeans instead of armored pants) my legs were soaked before we found a safe place to pull over a...

Re: Falling seat-seat damper.... Fixed!
Well, that couldn’t have gone any easier... 2 panels off, old damper off, new on and panels back on. Never been so excited for a seat that stays open. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the engineers didn’t just make the seat so that it can go all the way open and they wouldn’t need the da...

Re: How Cold Will You Go?
Don't decide based on temperature, I decide based on road conditions. In winter during freezing conditions, if the roads are dry and there is no precipitation imminent, so no ice risk, I will ride no matter what the temperature is. I agree...road conditions (even those you can't see sometimes) are ...

Re: Box Button Issues - Forza 2016
My 2014 had that problem right after getting it last summer. One scooter/motorcycle place nearby (which was recommended by a friend who owns a Silverwing) worked on it for an hour, trying to get into the area. Because of their high hourly price, I told them not to continue. When I took it in for win...

Re: Seat Comfort
After trying various spots, by pinning elastic on, I attached 4 hooks to 1" elastic pieces, sewed the elastic to heavier leather patches and then glued (Barge glue) the patches to the underside of the sheepskin. Sheepskin is pretty thin and can tear through if it's just sewed directly. So, the ...

Re: Seat Comfort
You are not alone Calculon! I've heard the complaint about the "ride" of the Forza and wanting to make the seat as comfy as possible. My hubs has some lower back issues and was having some pain after a 150 mile ride. I made sheepskin seat covers with 1" memory foam under mine, 2"...

Re: Repairing scraped paint on Forza fairing
Update: I went the route of talking to a Honda dealership. He found the piece and quoted me a price of only $5 higher than Partzilla and so I didn't have to pay any shipping and wait around. He had it in 4 days later but wanted about $100 to put it on. That's too rich for me but there's a bit more t...

Re: Repairing scraped paint on Forza fairing
I have a similar issue with the used 2014 I got last summer. The only thing that concerned me about ordering online was that the red is called different things like "glowing red" or "pearl red" which is on our title. I think letting the dealer handle the ordering is a great idea....
