Re: Finally sold.my pcx and got a Forza 300

Got a boat hatch spring to fix mine. It's about 11 inches long and works well. You may prefer the original equipment. Nice that the fuel pump was already taken care of. Enjoy

Re: Finally sold.my pcx and got a Forza 300

What a deal! An almost new 2014...... Very nice. The ones we got here in USA had a recall for the fuel pump. [2014] Wondered if that was a "thing" Over there?? We could put our serial # in a web page and find out if the recall had been done or not. Mine needed the pump and Honda took care ...

Re: Worsening oil leak leads to valve check

Was wondering if the "Roller rocker arms" might have been a factor in the maintaining of the valve settings. I'm quite sure my checking was valid. Accepted,004" in the intake, 006" unaccepted. The 009" accepted in exhaust, 011" unaccepted. No obvious evidence of oil lea...

Re: Worsening oil leak leads to valve check

There was a guy over in Greece that was on here a few years ago that had way more miles. He had done some serious modifications [maybe a rebuild] But the Honda Helix is also known for topping 100k , no problem. They filter the oil with a thimble screen also. What amazed me, was finding the valves di...

Re: Worsening oil leak leads to valve check

An addendum to the above. Know that it's hard to believe....I'd be right with you had I not "lived it". Pretty confounding..... Needles to say,
That will be my last valve check. This PCX will be with me till one of us dies!

Worsening oil leak leads to valve check

The PCX has been using oil for a long time but it's gotten worse, lately. Have to add every 200-300 miles. Knew it was probably coming from the Valve cover, as it was dripping on the exhaust header. Never any evidence on the garage floor since it vaporized on the exhaust. Bit the bullet and decided ...

You're welcome. Have to agree.......not user friendly. Vespa has the right idea with their dog box, easily removed. No "good"
reason other scooter manufacturers can't do the same?? Happy New Year to all.

Re: Valve clearances

Honda is liberal when it comes to oil changes [5k]but over does it on the valve checks. Have had my PCX for about 10 years. More miles than yours. Still waiting for it to "act up" [hard starting, lack of power etc] Runs as well as ever. I Had intensions early on to do a valve check but a m...

Re: Name of this connector PlZ !?

You don't show where you are from. If the USA, a search at your Honda Dealer [on line] under
"OEM parts finder" should render the info you are looking for. Or, Maybe a call to the Honda Dealer??

Re: YUASA YTZ7S for PCX 150

My original AGM batteries still hold a charge. [both PCX and Forza] Recently replaced them.. If you keep them charged [riding or battery charger]
they will last a long time.
