Re: PCX ?
service or changing the oil? Service is changing the oil and doing the rest what manual says. That implicate changing oil "too" not "or". In my car 20 000 service is just changing the oil with filter, and that's all. With PCX most of what should to be done every 4000 km I do eve...

Re: First 1000 km service by myself?
Ive got a 2 year warranty on mine and have an arrangement with my local garage who are not the official honda dealers but who can still stamp the service book.. They can stamp the book. For a warranty however you should make arrangement with Honda. Will they respect your stamps? Local garage is not...

Re: PCX ?
I read this recomendation sometimes in manuals. I don't know exactly why. I assume it's because air filter is not perfect and some dust particles come to engine and mix with oil. Here is example of such recomendation for suzuki http://gsx1400.pl/instrukcje/suzuki_gsx1400k1.pdf On page 36 "when ...

Re: PCX ?
4000 km for oil change is probably because there is no real oil filter in PCX. So instead replacing filter you just replace oil more often. I would recommend service by yourself but changing oil every 4000 km or 2000 km if you're riding on dusty roads.

Re: First 1000 km service by myself?
So you saying even if you go to authorised dealer and do everything by the book your warranty is not working? I had once bought a new Peugeot car and have almost no problem with warranty. They replaced most of what was bad. Almost, because they sucked, ordered wrong parts, wasted my time and didn't ...

Oil grade
I'm searchnig for oil It's easy find API SG or better because most engine oils is better. Viscosity 10W-30 for non tropical tempteratures is quite rare, but still possible to find. JASO MB is difficult to find in Poland. Most motorcycle oils is MA which is without friction reducing additives for wet...

Re: First 1000 km service by myself?
According to Honda Poland warranty conditions not. I just have to obey technical rules which are not enclosed in warranty. Basically if I follow service procedure and can prove it they shouldn't refuse warranty. I'm not sure yet. I wrote email, but didn't receive official answer from them yet. My pr...

First 1000 km service by myself?
What service manual say about first 1000 km service? Changing oil is obvious. What about valve check and loose screws check? Do you have any walking through instruction from service manual?

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
So which trousers would you recomend for winter? Casual look and warm.
Here are offer from german shop http://tinyurl.com/cp3tajb
Which would you choose? Remember. It's 2-8 deg Celsius in Poland now. Now I use skiing trousers, but they're not warm enough.
