Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
With the larger engine you could use the PCX for the unrestricted motorcycle license test in IL. The cutoff is 150cc. My 2019, with 149cc, would only have let me get a license for under 150cc vehicles. I wonder how much performance difference the extra cc’s make.

Re: Correct tire pressure
FWIW, I generally keep my tires about 2 to 3 pounds over the recommended pressure. I might suffer faster wear, but I think it makes the handling crisper.

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
I don't know how different the '21 is from the '19 that I own, but mine tops out at about 65 mph (I'm 190 pounds and I added a taller windscreen from National Cycle). If I needed/wanted something that could go 85 mph I would not have bought the PCX. This scooter is a load of fun and since it can han...

Re: Scooter Cannonball Run - Its a real thing!
Interesting that the rules call for wheels to be no more than 10 inches, which is smaller than the wheels on the PCX, yet it says PCX's are included in the group that is competing. I wouldn't attempt riding this much for so many days in a row even on my new Can Am Spyder RT, let alone on my PCX150.

Why no mega scooter?
I wonder why Honda gave up on larger displacement scooters. Years ago I had a Silverwing and with its 110 mph capability was up to even the fastest Interstate traffic. Even if they just brought back one with a 300 or 400 cc engine it would be powerful enough to be seen as a real alternative to a mot...

Re: 2019 Honda PCX 150 Tire Pressure
To jge64: the one you showed a link to, on Amazon, was it easy to set up? I tried getting one once but found the instructions indecipherable. How does the monitor attach to the scooter to show the pressure read outs? Thanks.

Riding a slow bike fast
Its often said that riding a slow bike fast is more fun that riding a fast bike slow, and its really true. Riding my Goldwing on local country roads, with a 55 mph speed limit, at 75 or 80 is okay, but it sure does not get my adrenaline going. To get the heart rate up on the Goldwing I need to get i...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"
I have no idea what kind of rear brake my 2019 PCX has, but in any case, I find braking adequate for my needs, once I remembered that the left hand lever is not a clutch lever but for the rear brake. When I ride my PCX I readily recall my old Honda scooter from the early 1980's that had those tiny w...

Should have left the stock windscreen on
I really love my 2019 PCX150 and use it for errands and short rides into the country. Its not my primary two wheel ride, which is a Honda Goldwing, and the only thing I do not care for on the PCX was the wind buffeting when riding at 50 mph or more (which is most of the time for me). So I bought a N...

Re: Bought New PCX150
I'm happy with the stock tires and wheels on my 2019 PCX150. My last scooter before this one had 12 inch wheels, so these seem almost like motorcycle size wheels and do just fine. The small wheels are what kept me from buying a Vespa (along with the high price). As to speed, I probably ride at above...

Re: Bought New PCX150
I've done 50 to 60 mile rides with my 2019 PCX150 routinely, running at mostly full throttle with no ill effects so far. Sometimes the top speed of 65 is just barely adequate to keep from getting run over on a 55 mph road, but mostly it works. Regarding the windscreen, I found that the stock mini sc...

Re: Added an extension on my extended windscreen
Good idea about the leafblower, but I won't use Loctite, at least not now. If this ugly extension piece does not make a significant difference I will remove it and chuck it in the trash.

Re: Unretired from retiring from motorcycles
Most of the Interstate system has a 70 mph (113 kph) but some highways are posted at 80 mph or even 85 mph. I do not know of any road with higher than 85 mph speed limit, other than the few roads without a limit at all. Around here in Illinois, with a posted 70 mph limit, traffic moves at 80 to 85 m...

Added an extension on my extended windscreen
I found that the minimal windscreen on my stock 2019 PCX150 was useless for blocking any of the wind, especially when going over 50 mph. So I changed out the windscreen for the much, much taller National Cycle windscreen. But despite its size, that screen still does not block the bulk of the wind an...

Re: Unretired from retiring from motorcycles
What made you give up on the 650 Burgman? I'm asking because in addition to my PCX150, which I love for running around town, I have a 2016 Goldwing. But at approaching 78, I'm seriously thinking of downsizing to something lighter (I had a recent incident of while putting the Wing on the center stand...

Re: Ordered a new windscreen
I don't post much here so I couldn't PM you Vito. I just picked up a 2020 PCX. I am looking to replace the stock wind screen(if you can call it that). All I can find are listed as fitting 2014-2018 machines. I have called Partzilla and similar to inquire as to something that will fit a 2020. They c...

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?
I was out for a one hour, 45 mile ride today in moderate temps but strong winds. Got pushed all over the road but enjoyed the ride anyway. When I ride I feel like 37 instead of my real 77. I so enjoy riding this little scooter that I am pretty sure that when I just have to give up the Goldwing I wil...

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?
I'm 77 now, and posting again a year later shows me that unfortunately this forum doesn't have much activity. Maybe when I post some of my philosophical posts on my other motorcycle forums I will copy and past to this one as well, in the hope of stimulating some internet conversation. I used to have...
