Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
To clarify: There has been no "PCX160" model name in the US. Since the 2021 model, though equipped with the new engine, this Honda model is now called simply a "PCX".

Re: 2021 PCX 160/125 owner’s review thread
Quite a saga, Haf. Good data, illustrating in part, why bike sales are so low in this country. Everyone should know about this Dallas DEALER, including the Houston one that "helped" and referred you. And you illustrate a case of an informed customer who REALLY wanted to buy a/this HONDA bi...

Re: Scooter 1000
Geeez, that is quite a ride and accomplishment, and a nice report and map, Alex: thank you. I'm more in the maybe-100 miles-in-24-hours class. It is especially gratifying to hear of a ride through your beautiful state when many of us have been hearing and seeing more reports of vast, sad fires of be...

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
Here's the link. Just guessing that the "85" is a typo of the intended 65. After perusing TopSpeed's pages for independent, trustworthy, and "hands-on" reviews on a half-dozen or so bikes over the years, it became obvious that the contributors are outstanding copy/paste artists ...

Re: new zuma from yamaha
Well, gents and ladies: I had been shopping for an ADV150 this winter, but I put a deposit down on the first new PCX I saw advertised in my region, then waited patiently for a bunch of long weeks. When it arrived, I backed out, and a couple of days later, ordered the new Zuma instead. It arrived in ...

Re: 2021 PCX 160/125 owner’s review thread
Hey Congrats! ezrider on your new 2022 Zuma 125! I’ve looked at them off/on for a long time (the older style) and know many owners have given them good reviews. I also remember the 500 Titan..it was truly a great bike in its day too. Did it feel strange at first to have a brake lever where the clut...

Welcome to the Forum. Don't know at all what your situation might look like, but a magnetized screwdriver or other magnetized tool comes to mind. I also recommend duct tape for just about any task. Good luck!

Re: 2021 PCX 160/125 owner’s review thread
So this is my first post and my first scooter. I've been riding motorbikes since 16. My first bike was a CB350F and my last was an R1200RT. I am still in the break in period so have not been pushing it too hard but have been up over 90kph a few times. I bought this scooter for my wife to learn to r...

Re: Hello. I am a n00b!
Greets! I found this forum because I am interested in buying a PCX. I had some questions that dealers seem to beat around the bush... 1. What is the difference between a CVT and a v-matic transmission? 2. What years can you put a full-face helmet under the seat of a PCX? 3. Are there colors besides...

Re: 2021 PCX 160/125 owner’s review thread
Nice pics, jwm. Cool views, though I hope you rode away with at least a helmet, especially because you're the first to report -on another thread here- an indicated 80 mph on the new PCX, and that you didn't think it wasn't its top! Of course, evidence will be demanded by smax owners, among others. R...

Re: WOT for a full tank...
Modern, shmodern... I'd still imagine that Honda's legendary 234cc twin, well-maintained, would be stronger, more "robust" than its brand new not-so-similar 156.9cc thumper. But you may be the only one who could/would test these imagined possibilities. ;-) BTW, I believe that twin actually...

So I saw this new pcx overview of one in Florida and apparently the guy was able to order one with the keyless entry, which I wasn’t aware of! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G3Q3NLJwayY Good find, mrags. This guy tells it different in the video, but he's posted here above (as wmillette) where he tol...

Excellent succinct and thorough evaluation, iceman. That's on a 125, but a meaningful contribution nevertheless.

Re: 2021 PCX’s arriving at U.S. Honda dealers!
I personally think you’re making a big mistake. There is absolutely nothing that’s missing right now on a PCX that really matters. I would take it and run…You’re overthinking this. Busted, Glen: there are few things I don't overthink, but I am expert at it and enjoy it. If I come to feel differentl...

Like most things, I’ve found that making a car, motorcycle, or scooter choice is mostly a personal and subjective one. I’ve appreciated what you’ve posted ezrider and wish I lived close enough to offer you a test ride…never know, that may have done it!😉 Good luck on your search, and stay plugged in...

Re: 2021 PCX’s arriving at U.S. Honda dealers!
I've been SO ready for the PCX, but, alas, the US PCX has not been readied for me. FWIW, I've decided this morning to pass on the lovely PCX that I've awaited patiently for months and has had my name on it: just too many missing features on the (belated) US issue. I will wait for Honda to improve it...

Re: 2021 PCX’s arriving at U.S. Honda dealers!
I believe all the ESP engines had the starter/alternator combo - it is also how the idle stop works as the crank always defaulls to a known positition so the engine can start immediately. If so, the "pop start" should be a PCX norm, given that ESP on PCXs goes back a decade now. Idle stop...
