Re: Front Forks Install
Good call. Mitch's videos are a blessing to any number of Forums. Not the same, but I've tried rebuilds on brake master cylinders and calipers before, only to find the internals pitted so badly my efforts and the costs of the rebuild kits were wasted. Once should have been enough of a learning exper...

Re: How To Remove Radiator Cap
As Oldie says it pretty straight forward after you get hands on it.
You need to push down on the radiator cap and turn at the same time.
The cap has a recessed area that prevents it from coming off without intentionally pressing down.

Re: 2025 PCX 160 Rear Shock Upgrade Questions.
If you get the length and model sorted out for the replacement shocks, I'd appreciate if you'd pass the info along. I'm solo with no passengers, but the ride seems a bit harsh sometimes. I'm coming off decades of sport-touring and sports bikes and really have little reference for comparisons for the...

Re: Love the PCX but HATE the new plastic covered handlebars!
I agree on all counts and complaints. The color choices are take -it-or-leave-it. And the beautiful chrome handlebar used previously are no more. But on a good note, the bare and ugly handlebars under the plastics on the 2025 PCX are no uglier than optional and pricy 'hang-on ape bars' that are fac...

Re: Love the PCX but HATE the new plastic covered handlebars!
The 2025 PCX is my first venture away from 55 years of touring and sport bikes, so I can't speak of previous Honda PCX models. But having already removed and reinstalled the plastics covering the handlebars while running and hiding wiring for the heated grips I added... I can say without a doubt, th...

Re: Just got new, right out of box 2025 PCX160
Welcome. I'm and old coot who's been riding for over 50 years, but at 71 years aged, I'm still a pup compared to you. Congratulations on staying vertical. The 2025 PCX is my first scooter after riding touring and sportbikes. It's been a hoot. I'm really pleased with it. National Cycle's customer ser...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
I'll probably have the same done at my local dealer when I reach 4K miles on the odometer since I want the valves checked the 1st recommended interval, even though they'll most likely be in spec. And I have no desire to pull off plastic panels more than needed. If the 4K miles service is done by-the...

Re: City Grips 2
I'm only looking ahead for my 2025 PCX but having the same problem finding a front 110/70/14 Michelin City Grip 2. The rear is available in a 130/70/13.
I don't see a 100/80/14, but both "Revzilla" and "MotorSport" list a rear Michelin City Grip 2 in a 120/70/14.
Go figure.

Re: 2025 PCX Alternator Output
Per Helm's 2025 Honda PCX's Service Manual: The 2025 Honda PCX has a triple-phase alternator with an output of.67KW @ 5000rpm. That should convert to 670-Watt capacity. I'm skeptical. Are my conversions wrong or am I overlooking something else? My 2024 Suzuki GSX250R's service manual listed an outpu...

I'm in agreement with your 1st thoughts. Somewhere in the drive train.
Either way, GOOD that's it's still in Warranty. Honda's problem and expense.

Re: new 160 today
I picked up a 2025 PCX from my local dealer several months ago. I'm right behind you in age and came off a sport bike after decades of riding. I seriously considered the 2025 XMAX and decided it wasn't for me. Any vehicle that spends a full 1/3 of its Owner's Manual on how to manipulate its electron...

Re: Tire size purchase problems?
I'm late to the conversation here. But the newer PCXs come with 110/70/14 front, 130/70/13 rear as OEM sizes. The rear tire @ 130/70/17 is readily available in Michelin and Pirelli offerings. Michelin doesn't seem to make the 110/70/14 in the City Grip. The Pirelli's website lists a Pirelli Angel av...

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I like that color a bit more than my "matte brown/gray". Very nice! Congrats on the new scoot! Does it have a physical key or is it now fob operated? I've yet to see one in person. I'm mixed on the color. I do like metallic in the paint, and the gray is a really popular auto color now. I'...
