Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model

I placed a deposit on a 2025 PCX this morning. It has an ETA of 5/21/25.
I'm hoping the 'pearl gray' looks decent.
No matter I guess since it's the only color available in the US.

Re: PCX wouldn't start

The 2014 PCX is fuel-injected, so the scoot shouldn't really be "flooded" since it has no carburetor. What I'm proposing may or not apply to your scoot... but it's all I can think of. Many bikes have a "disable switch" that will activate in the event a bike ends on its side in an...

2025 Honda PCX 160 US model

Looks like Honda has finally posted a 2025 PCX 160 model in their website... Pearl Gray.

That looks good. I like the size. How well does it work and do those lower sweeping wings provide any wind deflection off the hands?

Pictures of the windscreen and rear box would be great... (The case's mounting bracket with and without case, please).
Thanks for the reviews.

Re: Drive belt

I'd be more concerned with what brand belt it is. And who the "seller" is on Amazon or Ebay.
If it's a reputable brand it can still be pirated and misrepresented, and if the cost is considerably lower than one you could buy from a reputable motorcycle vendor.... it probably is.

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!

Simple is always better with me. That's one of the reasons I've been looking into the Genuine scoots. Given the price and performance, the Buddy 125 may just be the best deal of the bunch, so I look forward to your review. I've done a good bit of lurking on the Modern Buddy Forum comparing opinions ...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!

Nice catch on a new 2023 model. I've been looking at both the Genuine Buddy 170i and the Hooligan 170i along with the PCX160. I'm not a big fan of the looks of the ADV160, but that's personal preference only. I'm too old to even pretend to be an "adventure" rider. How about keeping us info...

Re: 2021 PCX/A Service manual availability?

Per the 2024 Honda PCX 160's Owner's Manual, HelmInc is Honda's preferred vendor for service manuals. From experience, I can tell you that an authorized Suzuki Service Manual (in paper) is almost double that of the PCX's... and mine has paid for itself. Pick any basic maintenance or repair chore on ...

Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks

I've been unable to get any info on the 2025 US models. No definite dates available, colors, changes... nothing. Since there are still '23 and '24 models still on some showrooms, there probably won't info until Honda releases the 2025s to its dealers and announces them on the web site. Plenty of 202...

Re: Transmission making clickity noise after replacing CVT belt and got transmission cleaned at dealer

There may not be a problem. But any time there appears a "new problem/noise/feel" after a service I always suspect something was left amiss during the work performed. If it were my scoot, I'd take it back to the dealer just in case. If they give you the good to go, so be it. But at least t...

Those were my thoughts too. The procedure may well be the same for the US models, but I've no idea where to get it reprogrammed other than a Honda dealership. Maybe someone else is more knowledgeable and savvier that me.

Re: Stator

You may have a bad starter, but before you start replacing expensive electrical components, that can't be returned after out-of-the-box, have a qualified shop or parts store, do a "load test" on the battery to verify the battery's condition. A defective battery can read 12.2V when idle, bu...

Re: Mouse damage

It's not unusual for mice to gnaw on the insulation around wiring components, but this is the first time I've seen other rubber parts damaged. The PCX125 isn't sold in the US, so I have no access to a vendor's OEM Honda parts schematic to see if those rubber covers are available. My guess is they're...

Re: Turn key to On… nothing happens | Forza 300 2015

Before more damage is done to electrical system, please stop replacing blown fuses and find out what's causing the overload/short. When there's a sudden malfunction after a repair or modification, we probably did something wrong or installed an improper part. If it worked before the "repairs&qu...

Re: Looking for Advice on Honda PCX Maintenance Tips for a New Owner

You really can't go wrong by following Honda's maintenance recommendations, so far as mileage/time, when and what needs to be done, and specs on all fluids they recommend. The link below allows you to plug in your bike's year/model to download a free PDF of its Owner's Manual. It contains a wealth o...

No, you're not missing anything. Honda's US website has made recent changes and may (or not) have created some problems or lost info.
There is a 2022 PCX Owner's Manual available. There were virtually the same bikes... no changes I'm aware of. The 2022 version should work fine.

Most damage occurs when washing any vehicle happens when using a pressure washer. If you look in your PCX's Owner's Manual under "Caring for Your Vehicle", Honda actually covers the does-and-don'ts for cleaning the bike... pretty neat. The link below is for a 2022 model PCX and is on page ...

Re: Headlight high beam not working, low beam is

A 2023 model PCX in metallic blue is a motorbike outside the offerings we have in the US. Nice to have choices other than metallic brown.
Is your 2023 model not still under warranty? Most Honda warranties are transferable and stay with the bike even if they're resold.
