Re: Valve clearance on a 2021.
Hey mprime, Did you happen to know what the valve specs are for the new 4 valve engine? I can't find them anywhere, but i assume they are different to the previous model that only had 2 valves? Thanks, Luke The factory service manual states that the intake is .004 and the exhaust is .009. Sorry abo...

Re: Honda OEM windshield
I've been pretty happy with the Puig I ordered from Revzilla. I even bought the upper deflector, too. It's nice not having any buffeting on the freeway.

Nice looking seat! That's the same place I ordered mine from and I also chose the OEM seat pan. Absolutely no regrets!

I'll take a look at the manual when I get home unless someone else beats me to it.

Re: 2024 Honda PCX Preview. By "Motorcyclist"
Wow, weird how that the U.S. model has rear drum brakes. I don't yet have the PCX, however, I am considering it. Here in South America, it comes with disk brakes in the front and rear wheels for 2024. It's also available in 3 colors, white blue and metallic silver. Another weird thing is that the U...

I did the same thing with my '21. Replacing the stock shocks with YSS made for a lot smoother ride with adjustability.

Definitely cold. I always let them sit overnight before doing that job. Intake was probably at .003 which is within tolerance.

Re: Valve clearance on a 2021.
I just did mine and it was a real pain. The service manual doesn't mention to remove the storage box, but it makes things considerably easier. Also, there's a very limited amount of space with which to manipulate your feeler gauges. The valves are deep into the head. I wanted to get a set of gauges...

Re: 2022 Honda PCX 150 Haynes service manual?
I was able to purchase a manual for $50 from helminc. They list a 2021 manual and I believe it's stayed the same for 2022. I started out working on old VW's many years ago. It's a lot easier now that there are really great videos on sites like YouTube. I am lucky that I'm to the point where I can fo...

I run the same Puig windscreen. I liked it by itself, but combined with the Puig lip extension it's perfect. I also installed the Dr. Pulley sliders, but kept the same weight as stock. Is that the flecked white? It almost looks like a dove gray in that first pic.

Re: Best practice for long life
I just did the 4000 mile service, myself, a few weeks ago. During the valve inspection I observed that two of the valves were a little on the tight side and had been over tightened at the dealership. Adjusting them made no perceivable difference, but I know that they are correctly set now. It's not ...

That's happened to me once or twice. Are you satisfied with the aim of your headlights? It's possible they need adjustment.

I bought mine from Helminc and it was $50. For a factory manual it's extremely basic.

I like the Puig, but I did order the factory lip extension. I'm looking forward to seeing if it eliminates the little bit of helmet buffeting I get on the top end.

Re: Seat replacement
A number of us have ordered seats from Thailand and had great results. Pretty inexpensive, great quality, and lots of options including have one built on a Honda seat pan. I gave him my height and had the bucket moved back 2 inches. Shipping was a little high, but it's DHL and only took a few days t...

Anyone know what the dealer fix is? I've had it happen a number of times now and it's pretty annoying.
