Re: 2013 PCX 150 matte black
I think it looks great on the PCX, especially with the red accents!

Re: AzRocketPCX
That eliminator looks like it's for the non-US bikes, I don't see any provision for mounting the turn signals. I think the ones for the US bikes are a bit more pricey.

Re: Problems with PCX125 Seat
I had a problem last week with the seat not closing on my 150. Had to leave it in the parking lot for the day at work with the seat unlocked, still wouldn't latch for the ride home. As soon as I got home and went out to look into the problem, it had fixed itself! Guess I won't worry about it until i...

Re: Disc Lock Help
I use a Xena XX6 on my PCX, you definitely need a 6mm pin one for the disk brake. Piercingly loud...main downside I find is fitting the battery and stealthfully trying to remove the damn thing..key poised at the ready making sure it goes into the lock barrel and turned in one swift movement else it...

It looks great. Good choice on the color, I always thought the black PCX needed something like that!

Re: Disc Lock Help
I've got the 6L and it fits. I think the body size of the lock is a bit larger than the 6Y, but they both have the 6mm pin.

Re: Disc Lock Help
Xena makes the best I've used. The alarm is real sensitive, so much that it won't let you forget you've locked it. If you even move the bike, it warns you with a beep, then goes off.

Re: Replacement seat for the PCX
I'm 6'1" and the hump has never bothered me, even on 200+ mile rides. But then, everybody bitches about the factory seat on my Triumph T100, and I think that's about as comfortable as it can get!

Re: Fork mounted LED DRL
Since all my other bikes have had handlebar lights, it felt weird on this one not to have light going into corners. Found these little lights on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-CREE-lights-LED-fog-dual-sport-dirtbike-atv-supermoto-headlight-6000K-/321092151755?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessori...

Re: MSF Basic Rider Course
The courses here in AZ also offer scooters as an option.
They are expensive, but definitely a good idea. I never took their basic course, but did their advanced course after riding for about 4 years. Highly recommended! I learned a lot of little things that have really made me a better rider!

Re: MPG Question
Thanks to the internet, it's pretty easy to plan longer trips with gas stops at around 100 miles apart. As far as the security, unfortunately, scooters are pretty easily stolen. If I'm parking in a questionable area, I use one of these: http://www.xenasecurity.com/product/motorbikes/alarm/page1/ The...

Tucson AZ Rally
The Sky Island Riders scooter club in Tucson Arizona is hosting it's 3rd annual scooter rally - For a few CCs More III - on April 26th-28th 2013. It's a great city based rally that's attended by mostly modern (with some vintage) scooters and scooterists. Hoping some of the PCX crowd can come and enj...

Re: Paint and Pinstripe
Well, I didn't build the Jesus bike (pictured previously), so I didn't get to use the nail gun. I did cut a bit more of the fender than I had originally intended, ended up doing a DIY fender eliminator.

Re: Paint and Pinstripe
Thanks for the inspiration! I agree, the stock fender is too big, and the eliminator kits are high priced for what they include. I have a hacksaw and a file (and a sawzall, grinder, nail gun, belt sander...etc) as well as a day off tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. Nail gun? Once you start a pro...
