Hi guys. Back with an update for those who may have the same issue. READ EVERYTHING. It turns out the “positive” (red) screw on my battery had come loose. I don’t think the battery is completely dead because surely the dashboard lights would activate upon turning the key to On?

I may be wrong here. New to the self repair game however I’m eager to learn anything and maintain every aspect of my bike myself!
