I get between 95 & 100, all city driving.
I was getting 100 - 115 when working. Mostly state roads, minimal stopping, ave. 45mph.
My car was 28-32 combined.

Re: Braking & Breaking
I would like to agree with Iceman, use your left brake handle first, then use the right to come to your stop. After you do it a while, you'll get the hang of it. Breaking it in. Slow and easy is the best as you get to know your bike. Many accidents happen when were new riders and trying to do more t...

Re: 110/70/14 front tire
Try Motorcycle Tire Maniac. I have the Heidenau K63 110/80-14. Gives me a better/safer feel for the road. I did this several years ago and I think, once I got the bead set, I had to deflate the tire so it would fit between the reflectors (or some bracket) It's worth the ride. Good luck in your searc...

Re: How far have you rode your scooter?
When going to work, I go 25-miles one way. Mostly city, average 40-45MPH, 105+MPG. I fill up every other trip to be on the safe side. Put 4000 miles on my first year, 2500 my second (I don't ride in the rain or wind over 20-MPH) Started riding my 150 April 2013. I do not take it on the expressway/fr...

Re: 2 brake fluid reservoirs? And immediate problem.
The dealer I got my 150 from said that is a common complaint. Mine To. He said the reservoir is filled to the top and the fluid is clear so it looks empty. I did what gn2 suggested and the wheel wouldn't move. Everything seems to be fine. I'll find out for sure when in do my Winter Tear Down Inspect...

Re: Something's not right
Is it possible that the parking brake is over adjusted? I never use mine. But if a new tech thought he was doing you a favor and over adjusted the brake ?????
Just throwing it out.

Is your air filter and intake system clean and not blocked. Same thing for the exhaust side. Is pipe ok, Sounds stupid, but nothing dropped in the muffler? Stupid crap does happens and no one wants to take the blame.

Re: Balancing tires for a smoother ride.
I would like my scooter to ride as smooth as possible. Thats why spending a few bucks to assure the wheels are balanced is worth it. That being said the type of tire may also make a difference. I don't believe an off road or dual-purpose tire would ride as smooth. I don't think but, I could be wrong...

Re: Balancing tires for a smoother ride.
The beads have been around for quite a while now and does have there supporters and dis-tractors. The real comment is not what you use, you'll find supporters of each. Research, and do use one or the other. Also this. We think nothing of balancing the tires of our four wheeled vehicles and their a h...

Maybe you need a longer screw? It is about 1/2-inch long, isn't it?

Upon going back to the origional post, it looks like the connector is the one located on the fuel tank, I was trying to take the one off the the top of the head.
Double good thing I did't break it.

Re: How-To: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
I could not get the electrical connector apart. It looked like all I would have to do is push a small screwdriver in the slot and pull up. Did not work. I've broken connectors in the past and don't even want to think of it hear. For other 1st timers. You will need a 9-mm wrench for the locking nut. ...

Balancing tires for a smoother ride.
I signed up in April when I got my PCX and have just been spending my time "picking up tips". Put a tall GIVI on the front and a GIVI box on the back. For what it's worth, If your wheels "do not" have any weights on them, they probably are not balanced. And that is something you ...

Re: How is the suspension of the PCX 150?
For the record. I had to put a second piece of foam (about half the size of the first) to take up some lost space.

Re: How is the suspension of the PCX 150?
I'm 5'11", 160#. I took out the hump, and replaced the hard foam under the seat with 2" of green "high density foam". I pulled out the hard foam from the hole where the hump was and was able to pull out, up to the center hole under the seat. The high density is pretty easy to wor...
