How do I unlock seat in case of a dead battery

If the battery goes dead, how do I unlock the seat to charge the battery. The gas cover is on a cable , however the seat release is on an electronic release switch, I guess if I had a 12V outlet in the little compartment in the left front, I could put a charger in it, this may be a good reason to install one of them. Any comments welcome.. Ozzy

The fuel/seat rocker switch has two bowden cables connected to it, one for the fuel cover and the other for the seat.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

I think what they are trying to tell you is its mechanical, not electrical so they can be opened when battery is flat.

Taz hit the nail on the head... The latch to release the seat is mechanical, it'll work even if no battery is in the bike.

I think Asian bikes use a keyless fob instead of a key, so if your battery's dead you need a tool that goes in the slot beside the rocker to open the bike mechanically.
I'd like to get one just in case.
