its only 2,800 km yes it is also noticeable when you pushing the bike backward...

Happens quite often, usually its a bearing in the clutch.

This noise is common in all PCXs. It's caused by a design issue in the clutch, but it doesn't mean that your scooter is about to fail. It seems to be more annoying than dangerous. It can be fixed, temporarily at least, by periodic cleaning and lubing of the parts involved or somewhat more permanently by replacing the driven face and bearing assembly portion of the clutch.

Honda is aware of the problem but apparently doesn't consider it worthy of a recall. Some of our forum members have replaced the assembly and others just do the periodic clean-and-lube or do nothing at all. As far as I know, there have been no reports of catastrophic failure of this assembly. YMMV.

That's correct. Normally the noise only occurs when the rear wheel is turned with the engine not running (say while pushing the bike around to park it) or running at idle. Once the bike is underway and the clutch is fully engaged, the bearing stops turning and so the noise goes away. The bearing only turns when the bike is moving at less than, say, 5 mph.

Until it doesn't. Ours went from annoying to really bad eventually at around 10,000 miles. That is when we had them pull the assembly and replace it. The bearings had failed by that time, and the noise was really loud. Just keep an eye on it and if the problem becomes really obvious, it is time to replace it. The replacement assembly isn't that expensive.

On 2013 PCX that belongs to my father in law clutch bearings started to make that noise at around 11.5k and I've changed it at 13k miles.
I've made myself a spare clutch ready for when I'll need it, slowly hitting 9k miles on my 2015.

Interesting that you can find the bearings. Most of us just order the assembly 23205-KWN-640 .

At one point finding the individual parts here in the United States was almost impossible. Hopefully that is not the problem now, though installing the assembly is much faster.

Anyone know if the bearings illustrated above look like improved versions of what came out? (I heard there was a change on new replacements rather than just new copies of the old faulty style).

Some interesting fact is here.

As you can see on my previous photo (3 bearings together), 2 of them are made in Japan and one- made in Thailand.
But...

If you will see more close to the bearing "made in Thailand" you will see that its actually made in Japan.
