Long time since I've stuck my snout in here. lol.
Since my first foray into the commuter world of all things PCX, things have changed a little.
A new RED PCX (2016) is sat in the garage after the 2012 White one was part ex'd after 17000 miles in 4 years.
The reason its sat in the garage is it needs some parts after a meeting with a ditch which resulted in me with a C2 (neck) T1,T3,T4 back fractures and a fractured sternum. The PCX escaped lightly I suppose with bent L fork leg, broken mirrors and front fender plus some light body scratches as would be expected ( but no smashed panels surprisingly).
Anyhow, I'm looking for info on how to remove its 'clothes' so I can see whats happening inside and to remove the steer stem if the cast yoke is twisted / bent.
Any help/ advice with removing the bodywork would be much appreciated..
Thanks
p.s some bits from the 2012 in the For Sale section..

I'm back ... and need some help please.

Speaking of picking yourself up and getting back in the race, Frank Sinatra thought he was a tough cookie
but man... have you got resolve.

There are some pretty good youtube videos on how to strip the plastics off a PCX. The use of a plastic pry or taped up putty knife was a new one for me. It seems most people break at least a few "clips".
