Has anyone tried a 120/80-14 tire on the front of their Forza (120/70-14 is stock)? I have a 150/70-13 tire on the back (140/70-13 is stock). My thinking is that the larger front tire might last longer and raise the "trail" back up to original specs when used with the larger rear tire. I'll have about 13,000 miles on the original front Dunlap when it's time to replace it, so can't complain to much on the mileage
Dunlap scooter tires seem to be hard to find, except maybe thru Honda. Anyone know what Honda's retail price is for a 120/70-14 Dunlap Scootsmart (?) front tire?

I had a hard time finding a Dunlop (Note spelling) for my 2014 Forza. I have a 120/70-14 Michelin City Grip Front that has been on for 21,000 km (13,000 miles). The Michelin will probably last a while yet.
Who makes the 120/80-14?

There are several...Pirelli, Michelin, Shinko, Metzeler. Avon, IRC., as show in Motorcycle Superstore. No Dunlops.davenowherejones wrote:I had a hard time finding a Dunlop (Note spelling) for my 2014 Forza. I have a 120/70-14 Michelin City Grip Front that has been on for 21,000 km (13,000 miles). Thanks! I looked up their price and was pleasantly surprised....$66.93! Then checked with local dealer...same price! I was expecting a lot higher price for the original tire from Honda Parts. That is a bit more then you can mail order another brand of tire from places like Motorcycle Superstore, but not unreasonable. So have one ordered from local dealer.AustinPCX wrote:Partzilla.com has the OEM tire.

Standard size tyres are: 120/70 - 14 inch (front) and 140/70 - 13 inch (rear)
When I had to replace my OEM Dunlops last year they were NOT available here in Australia. I chose a set of Pirelli tyres which matched the front size but was a 140/60 on the back. The main problem with this is that the speedometer reads fast - 60 mph (96.56 km/h) is actually 56.81 mph (91.42 km/h). By the way, the Pirellis are a more "vee" shape than the Dunlops and tend to "tramline" until at least half worn.
Next time I intend to choose a set of Sava MC28S tyres: 120/70 -14 55 S TL for the fronts and 150/70 -13 64 S TL for the back.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Peter
