[Full face] helmets that store under seat of 2013 PCX 150...
So I thought that there was plenty of space under the seat to store a full face helmet AND some groceries or something... which is one reason I chose this PCX over a Grom for a daily commuter.
But apparently 80% (or probably more) of full faces don't actually fit without force.
So a list of helmets that fit WITHOUT force would be swell. Perhaps a list of those that could fit with minimal force could be handy as well.
Bonus points if you link directly to the Amazon or other seller's web page...

It's designed more for the Asain market with regard to helmet shell size (smaller build generally) as most western style full-face do not fit as you say. The more expsnsive helemts that come with 3 or 4 shell sizes may fit better as you can get a larger capacity inside the helmet whilst the outer shell stays smaller. If you can do a search, and it finds anything useful (hard to search for common words and find what you are looking for) then there was some guidance on what helmets fit and those that do not some time ago.

No way. I'd rather just use a half shell or 3/4 than put that ugly thing on the back.
But of course, I'd prefer a full face helmet. And I really don't care what it looks like. Just want something I can click "Buy Now" and not have to worry about sending it back for not fitting. I just need ONE link!!

The WOW small, medium and large will fit under the seat with just a little compression because of the foam pad under the seat lid. Snug, as intended. These are inexpensive but beautiful full face helmets. What they lack in speed performance they make up for in design and ventilation. DOT approved, many choices in color and they have the modern chin clasp. I have more than one for scooter because so inexpensive you might as well grab the one you need for the time of day with the proper tint visor rather than change a visor

Yep... she's a beauty and it will ship to you faster than you think because Amazon stocks them at YOUR local mega warehouse. I will say good helmet for scooter since you are not going over 70 mph. Beyond that it will ride up and whistle you a nice tune

Soo... good news. I received the WOW helmet and tried it on. Fits great. Tried it in the bike. Fits great.homie wrote:The WOW small, medium and large will fit under the seat with just a little compression because of the foam pad under the seat lid. Snug, as intended. Funny thing is that I put the WOW helmet next to my current Fulmer helmet and the Fulmer was actually shorter!! I thought, that's funny.... put it in the storage, and the seat shut just fine. I'm not sure why it didn't shut when I tried it the first two times, but today it fits.

Oh well... I needed a hi-viz helmet anyway, and one with a CLEAR shield. I bought the Fulmer helmet used and half the shield was scratched. Good to find such a cheap helmet. Needed a new helmet for pre-sunrise riding.

Congratulations. Great that it fits - a helmet bought without sitting on the squash for a while is a bit of a crapshoot, although at this price point, not that big of a crapshoot.
A clean/clear face shield will be a definite improvement. Enjoy!

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: [Full face] helmets that store under seat of 2013 PCX 15
My size Large LS2 Stream helmet fits snugly. The seat has to be pushed down against the last 1/4" and it compresses the bottom of the seat just a smidge. Not enough to make you worry about either the helmet or seat/hardware.
On the helmet, here's a mini-first impressions review:
+ Affordable
+ DOT AND ECE approved
+ built-in, flip down sun visor. I sure don't miss carrying spares!
+ An equivalent Shoei or Arai costs at least triple, but are slightly more comfortable.
- Has click closure, which makes it impossible to lock up with the helmet hook under the PCX seat. (but it sure is convenient!)
- Ventilation is just OK. My head gets warm hot, but not sweaty. (and I have buzzed hair) I always buy light colored helmets to help with this; mine's white. HJC CL-series are better in this regard, but they don't have built-in sun visors.
- The shield mechanism doesn't have a provision to leave it cracked open just a little for some air on the face; it fogs easily at lights, even in warm weather.
For the future, I may get a simple cable lock to run through the helmets and jackets so I can lock more stuff with the bike when I leave it.
I have a used Large HJC CL-11 incoming; we'll see how that compares. I bought it used on FeeBay with the intention of it being the spare, but since it has D-ring closures and nice graphics, it may become the main one, even lacking a smoke shield.

For the money I'd rather buy something quality with a built-in sun shield, thanks!Smaug wrote:My size [url=https://ls2helmets.us/road-touring/stream]LS2 Stream:
