I may still be around. I'm counting on it. I sweat bad enough now as it is.

Those characters should just quit buying black helmets. Get a white one with good vents, and you're good to go. Except in the rain. No?

That A/C helmet looks really heavy. I wonder if the designers took that into account. Heavier helmets cause neck and back strain and become uncomfortable in a shorter time. I had a nice modular Schuberth once which had a flip-up face and chin shield and a flip-down dark-tinted interior visor. I loved that helmet and it was soo comfortable, but I eventually quit using it because the weight wore me out riding in the leaned-forward position on my sports-touring bike. Even riding upright on a scooter you would notice the difference after a very few miles.

Weight is a big deal for me when helmet shopping too, Johnny. Now a full A/C suit, that would be something! 8)

I bought a new HJC Symax III a few months ago and have to say it's not heavy. . .at least not IMHO. . .and for a modular it does vent quite well. The drop down sun shades are nice too. I find the first setting is adequate. . .anything more and it may intrude on the bridge of my nose. It fits as advertised and I'm still breaking it in so by the end of the riding season I anticipate it will be even more comfortable. The liner removes very easily for cleaning. 8)
