Re: Honda X-ADV
Probably (but not definitely) it has been price-pointed as though its main competitor is the Yamaha T-Max. The new retail price is exactly the same, £9599.Scottish wrote:Would love to know what the sales figures are, great looking bike but that price is eye watering, surely thats going to put people off, or is it aimed at the very well off as a weekend plaything? hmmm
My guess is that it is aimed more at mainland European countries where maxi scooters are hugely popular and the T Max currently rules the roost.

Nearly £10k! That's half the price of my Subaru BRZ new.
I tell you who will be buying one. Not me that's who.

Nearly £10k is what a whole load of buyers in mainland Europe pay for a new T Max every year.you you wrote:lillypinkjenny wrote:Probably (but not definitely) it has been price-pointed as though its main competitor is the Yamaha T-Max. There is a market for the X ADV, but it doesn't include you. It doesn't include me either.

Did one of you nuts photoshop that PCX? I'm confused
I would certainly take that X ADV if it were available to me.

Re: Honda X-ADV
I'll be on Honda's mailing list (should there be one) for news/updates. Like the 2011 PCX, I'll be first to see/sit on it. Then if All goes right, a deal will be made. In the meantime, I Save me $$ while it strikes a pose on my iPad's home screen

Re: Honda X-ADV
No one in the USA will pay $13,000 for that bike. The NC700X has sold very slowly at $7,700.

One would have to REALLY love a high tech luxury scooter. Now that I read what I just wrote... you're right, we will never see that shipped here.sendler2112 wrote:No one in the USA will pay $13,000 for that bike. The NC700X has sold very slowly at $7,700.

Re: Honda X-ADV
Honda will no doubt look at the sales figures for the Yamaha T Max at the same price point.sendler2112 wrote:No one in the USA will pay $13,000 for that bike. The NC700X has sold very slowly at $7,700.
Yamaha sell thousands of these each year in Europe, but I believe that the USA run was two years maximum before it was pulled through poor sales.
Re: Honda X-ADV
An extra £500 for the optional footpegs LOL

Re: Honda X-ADV
He's quite used to strange vehicles arriving in the garage unannounced, as am I. No X-ADV yet, though.
