I am a first timer here & I must say this is a really good forum...you guys & gals have some terrific content in your posts
Here's a pic of the two-wheelers in my stable... a 2002 Honda Reflex, a 2011 PCX & a 2007 Yamaha Morphous... gotta say the PCX is the best of the bunch...it is tops in fuel economy, maneuverability, throttle response & style...Might have to thin the herd-out one of these days & get rid of a couple, but the PCX is defintely a keeper

You say that now, but give it a couple of years and you'll probably be bored with it.ragin' cajun wrote:the PCX is defintely a keeper
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
Re: New Member Rollin' In
Not bored with mine yet. Just bought one in sept one this month. Hey lets see a photo of those white hand guards from the handle bars. I cannot firgure how to mount any unless you use security ties / plastic tie wraps.

Here's Larger Picture. My son traded in his 09 Ninja650R for this 2013 Red PCX 150 then I sold my 08 Versys & bought the 2013 Black PCX150. 2013 Models only have 2 colors avialible in the US. There are FUN! Run 68 mph to rev limiters on both.

Welcome Ragin Cajun! I am originally from New Orleans... I may consider a backroads ride to Louisiana on the PCX at some point, it's about a 650 mile ride from my current home in Orlando. I have the Burgman for the long distance touring rides, but I really like the idea of doing at least one or a couple long trips on the little Honda...especially after reading some of the stories on here!
We have a guy in our local Orlando scooter club (Orlando Scooter Society) who has a Piaggio Fly 150 and he's put over 15,000 miles on that thing in less than 6 months! His biggest trip was from Orlando, Florida to Wisconsin (for a rally they had up there), followed by a ride from FL to Tennessee for a rally and most recently to Panama city (which is about a 350 one way ride from Orlando) for another rally. His trips and pictures can be found at our web site www.OrlandoScooterSociety.com. We are having our own rally in November 16th-18th, btw.

Maddie,
I believe those handguards have been discontinued, but you may still be able to find them online. Here is a pair on Amazon, but the color is probably not to your liking:

They were on my Christmas list last year
But we haven't installed them yet
I suspect you need to move the break levers over just slightly to make it work. Now that it is getting colder and I have good photo references I think we'll make it a priority to get them on.

hey rainburg...you are correct...the brake levers did require minor position adjustments to accomodate the handguardsrainburg wrote:They were on my Christmas list last yearBut we haven't installed them yet

Re: New Member Rollin' In
Hi,
I bought my self some polisport freeflow handguards:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Polisport-Freef ... t+freeflow
I saw a PCX with these fitted and thought they looked pretty awesome.
I went out today to fit them but am having trouble working out how.
Can anyone who has them fitted please assist, possibly with pictures?
It looks as though you may have to 'move' the brake levers and fittings across slightly (1/2 a cm but I was unsure whether this would affect anything so did not attempt it)? I am not very scooter maintenance savy so am unsure as to how to fit them.
THANK YOU

hey tildarama1..
to install the handguards you will have to move the brake lever assy on the left side as well as the right...once the handguards are in place you will have to adjust the mirrors as needed to allow rear view vision...heres a pick of the left side installed showing the switch assy along side the the handguard c-clamp & the brake lever c-clamp

I take it you can't use the stearing lock with these handguards installed?
