Re: i forgot my helmet again
i'm REALLY absent-minded but usually for me it's just forgetting the garage door opener (in a shared one in apt building) or forgetting to strap my helmet til a few blocks in, heheh

Re: i forgot my helmet again
I always caught myself before I leave the driveway.
The thing I forget sometimes is earplugs. On any drive more than about 10 minutes, I have them. The wind blast is so loud and constant that it easily causes wind damage, and I do like my hearing.

Re: i forgot my helmet again
Don't you keep your helmet near your bike? I put mine in the tailbox. After I ride I put the helmet on the bike to dry out before locking it in the tailbox again. If you really really have a problem remembering your helmet, put the key to the bike with the helmet.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Lock the thread, better yet delete it... we are scaring off the young people again
eggman is going to get pulled over by the police and then when asked where is your helmet he will reply 'don't I have it on?' Then that will be the last we hear from eggman.

Re: i forgot my helmet again
You all make me feel so much better.
I stick to a routine before riding, starting with jeans, boots, phone, wallet, jacket, helmet, gloves, then key.
As an old cycle racer, it's second nature for me to wear a helmet and I feel really strange if I get on the bike without one. Similar to wearing a seat belt in my car.
My first Mini in 1967 didn't come with them so I fitted them myself. I believe the Mini was one of the first cars sold in Oz with mounting points for belts.
My memory problems are much more severe, such as watching a football match, and 12 hours later forgetting who won.
